how is online on gc hacker wise?

i remember on DC PSO i stoped playing online due to all the hackers, and im contemplating getting to BBA with service, but if its gonna be all hackers id rather not. any opinions, also wt is the likely hood of the GC servers being as corrupt as the DC ones?

Well, if Barubary is doing it, any idiot with a PC and a half-assed knowledge of Hex can do it. Myself, I think Barubary is full of shit at least half the time.

Yeah, I myself have seen little proof of cheating at the moment, but there are those that swear duping is taking place, so you never know. I've played with one or two people that've had several very rare weapons that I've never seen, but they were at pretty high levels too, making it possible that they'd found or traded for them.
And yeah, Action Replay is a-comin', and I really dunno how much Sonic Team can do about it. We'll just have to wait and see.

Chances of it becoming as corrupt as the DC version? Not too likely IMO... I'd think that ST has fixed things up enough so that exploits and such can't be used maliciously, at least to SOME extent. Buuut, that's just speculation. Once again, we're gonna have to wait and see. :/

Personally though? I'll put up with dupers and item manufacturers if I have to (somehow), but at the first sign of lobby FSOD or PK, I am SO movin' to the Xbox.

GameCube PSO has a dupe glitch. Yes even the US version. It's not nearly as bad as teh dreamcast version but it's defintily getting there. Everytime I drop by and vega ship i eiher here about some bastard saying he duped balh blah for this guy to get his special weapon or soem crap, or i enter a game where everyones using a new weapon i've never seen before and when i ask about where they got it they all just laugh. Doesn't bothe me though, i keep playing cuz of friends don't really give a crap about the dupe problem
