Yes. The standard rate is $9.99 a month, although there is a discounted option for the PC version if you pay for a couple of months in advance. On Xbox 360, you are free to use an Xbox Live Silver account rather than a paid XBL Gold one to play PSU on that platform.

O_o i have no idea what that means, except the fact that its $10, which is around £7.50, which i cant afford to pay right now, well thanks for your time, i guiess ill just continue to play offline, or look for a gamecube adaptor and play PSO 1 and 2 for free, http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Well, basically, if you pay for more than one month, you get some extra days for free. Personally, I wouldn't recommend the option if you were new to the game.

In either case, it might actually cost a little more for you: I believe European players have a VAT stuck into the fee, unfortunately. You could probably check the billing site ( http://www.playsega.com ) to find out the exact fees for your region.
