Phew.. Scored a GC BBA

Today I visited (in order) Target, Funcoland, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Kmart and then Walmart looking for a GC BBA. I finally found ONE at Walmart, it was on the bottom of the shelf, piled underneath a bunch of Mad Katz crap and gameboy cases. Either someone was trying to hide it for later, or it simply got tossed around. The sales clerk told me that he had seen it come in with yesterdays truck, and it was the only one they had recieved. I would imagine this would have been part of a shipment from wherever Walmart's local distribution facility is.

Out of all the other places I went, Target and Walmart were the only places that even had the 56k, and Best Buy was the only place with actual copies of the game (Around 8 Actually).

Just giving you guys that are still looking for a broadband adapter a heads up. There still is some hope for finding these.

At my local Microplay store they have a lot of BBA and 56 ko modems....

I've yet to see a BBA or modem at the local Target, Walmart, or Kmart.

I searched for 2 days in two large cities to find a BBA. On the first day I went everywhere you would think to go, mall, walmart, target... ya know.

2nd day, I go to a larger city, call walmart. The lady on the phone says, "yes we have one in a case" alright, that's awesome, I go to pick it up, there's nothing resembling this in any case, so this walmart dude comes to help me. He looks through the cases, there's nothing but games and systems in the cases, so I was like...alright.

Then he starts digging through the crap that's piled up on the bottom shelf under all the controls and stuff, you know. HE FINDS IT!!! I was very happy, as I spent all of that time looking for one. He was looking at it, turned it on it's side and says "Stupid return people" (or something like that) what someone had returned, and I assume got there money back for was the piece of plastic that covers the slot where the BBA goes. Oh yeah, that was great. Also on these two days, I looked everywhere to find PSO itself, had NO LUCK, again. I went around all over, finally ended up at Circuit City, I said, this'll just be a waste of time, but it might not be. Ends up hidden behind the first game I looked behind (Animal Crossing) there were two copies of the game. This made my day, so the retards at Walmart (offense is what I'm intending) didn't bother me as much anymore. I still have no BBA, and I won't be playing PSO until Christmas, but that's alright, it'll help me build up some suspense before getting to play it. But the BBA would be nice, and yes, you're right, my birthday is January 2nd, and yes I would enjoy it very greatly if you would mail me a BBA, I would send you some cookies or a piece of my cake. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe
