Correction, I could only select the Japan Ships at the intro screen. US ships are selectable once you're in the lobby

Confirmation: all US ships up, and JP ships, Merope, Mintaka, Alnitak and Alnilam is up. Haven't seen JP players though.

Man I dont know if the servers being connected is gonna be good or bad.It can go either way I suppose. I would rather have them seperate in my opinion.(I think.)

Interesting. There is supposed to be 8 ships for v1.1. My guess is the other 4 are private servers for japanese, where US players can't access. So, if any jp player wishes to play with US players they just hop on the connected ships.

my guess is that only 4 JP servers are ready for 1.1 aned we dont see too many JP players because they dont have the new disc yet. Can anyone confirm this? When i hear that some JP servers were going to be 1.1 exclusive i knew that these would be what was connecting today. My guess is that we will be seeing a flood of JP refugees with no equipment in the next couple of weeks. Is the 1.1 disk even out yet...i had heard closer to the first of the year.

c) none of the above!
You can't buy v1.1, only trade it in. But, they will only trade it if you have a valid JP address.
Soooo, makes it almost impossible to get the v1.1 if you imported.

I'm sure something will turn up eventually, so I wouldn't get too worried about. If they never releast it properly some enterprising companies can just go ahead and buy CD's and exchange them for v 1.1 disks.

Nice lie, Slash. When JP players convert to v1.1 all their stuff is deleted and they are given a Jack-o-Lantern.

C5 is out but in the middle I got a disconnect GRRRR,that 3 HU's and one FO team was quite a thrill too >.>
Let's clear up a little misconception: JP players are not pristine and are just as guilty of cheating as US players.

Hear Hear Spy! I am tired of seeing everybody point the blame at us.
After all, the reason there was no link up till now was a dupe bug that they found (and I am assuming exploited) on their version. There are rude japanese players as well. There are nice ones also. Just like in the good ol U.S.
I remember on DC v1, I got my double saber stolen by a japanese player. Ticked me right off.
Anyway, I am looking forward to playing with them. But don't think that the jpn ships are a safe haven for all things good in this tiny PSO world...
All I can say is that I'm a bit annoyed that we get access to Japanese servers that probably won't have any Japanese players on them for a while, and access to a quest that requires a piece of hardware not even released in the US... Why did they even bother?! It seems to just make the frustration of not having a keyboard even more obvious, and the limited online experience even more frustrating. I really don't understand the logic behind their decision to make Japanese servers accessable right now... I would rather have seen the Christmas Quest over these two additions, and I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way.

You're not really missing much with the KB quest, unless you really want to get pwnzed by Delsabers while typing "Oh my that is a rare find!" and other stuff you would probably never find yourself saying in-game.

the funny thing will be a flood of japanese players looking to get rare items from us. if they have deleted inventories i think i can find a good home for my no-so-rare rares. "i will trade you a disca of liberator for a jack o lantern" lol.

I contacted NCSX to ask them about PSO Ver.1.1 and here's the reply I got:
"Hello, yes we plan on stocking PSO v1.1 and we will update our
customers once it is available for sale.

Thank god that someone posted this before I did..... Indeed, if it wasn't for the fact that JP players didn't expoit the bugs ,well they wouldn't have the servers seperated or release v1.1.

It's kinda funny really. The servers were separated for different reasons, one of them being that we "Cheating Americans" would ruin Japanese player's the games. Remember the thread about the DC servers when they were temporarily separated? Well, now ST is erasing all their items because of the immense cheating going on over there. So all those things we said in that topic about Japanese players hating American players because we want everything fast and easy doesn't mean jack. They cheat just as much as we do.

Nah, the Japanese have players who do that too, though they used another character besides NOL. Your going to find people who take pleasure in ruining things for others all over the world, so claiming one area is of the source of it is just a way of fooling yourself.

If I remember correctly it was two Japanese players that started PKing way back in V1 and that was before anything else happened anywhere. Of course that is no where near as destructive as NOLing FSOD BSOD or RSOD...which don't have points for the perpatraitor. Atleast PKing had the justification of getting weapons and money from the victim. I hope we all find an effective way to protect ourselves and report cheating to ST.....Maybe with our 9 bux a month ST could hire some mods (or start a volunteer mod program) since we dont get anything else.

Seeing as how they are the ones who screwed over their own ship by duiping the hell out of all their items =) K thx.
On another note: I Hate how US players think JP players aren't nearly as bad cheaters etc at duping and cheating. Cuz in all of us is greed, we want want want, and the japanese want want want just as much as we do and i gaurentee they are just as bad of hax0rz as us k thx =) *My Two Cents*

Your point doesn't even make sense, if those japanese players that exchange their disc would still want to dupe, they wouldn't exchange their disc, they would stay in the old server where they can dupe easily!

Well you can start being pissed, because chances are that's exactly where it's going, or to pay people to make quests and such. Really I hope NCSX gets version 1.1 in soon, as I'll quickly be switching over.
