1- There is no "Dark" Ethan, Ethan has always been good. :/
2- Hyuga wears dark armor

Dunno if you've been paying attention to story mode or AoI previews but there seems to be something fishy going on with Ethan.

They've probably called him that due to his nice dark coat.

And as to not confuse him with the Ethan on offline story mode. That won't have been rebalanced.

I think it's just to differentiate. There's no way in hell Ethan is cool enough to be badass enough to be TRULY dark.

"Dark Ethan" is about as silly a concept as "Dark Chaz". Though I wouldn't be surprised if Sega tries to pull it off. Currently, Ethan and Laia seem to have come to a truce, but in AoI she's fighting against him - and looking pretty pissed. They're probably going to co-opt him with a SeeD infection like it looks like what they're doing to Hyuga.

Either that, or he's really a good guy pretending to be evil - who tells Laia that he's a good guy pretending to be evil in order to manipulate her into following the Illuminus's evil scheme, which would make him seem evil again so that Ethan can advance his goals as a goodguy.
