Will you be restarting for AoI?

I am not going to restart, especially since all 4 of my slots are taken up with alts.

If i do make a new character no way is it going to be my main, i might just mess around with it.

I don't think so. I know a few others who restarted their characters now for the expansion but I dont think any of my characters will be restarted.

Yeah..I couldn't imagine just throwing my current main away when AoI is released. I know I haven't played for as long as a lot of you have, but I still have 110 hours put into my main and it feels like quite a lot of work, since 99% of it was done soloing ^.^;;

well as of now I have 4 characters. I intended to have them set as such(by order in my menu):

FT-switching to AT come AoI
FG/AF
FF
GT/PT

but after redoing some numbers and seeing how much better we can make our characters look with new body types and whatnot...I decided that I need to make a few changes. so come AoI day 1; My menu will look like this:

PT/FF
FG
FG/AF
GT

I'm not deleting my main til the replacement is caught up. after that it will ook like this:

PT/FF
FT/AT/WT
FG/AF
GT

Well, considering I won't be done with my main until...

It has reached the cap, found a full palette of Psycho Wands and raised all techs to level 40...I probably won't be switching any time soon. I may make a low level character just to play around with, but it won't affect my main's time that much.

not to mention the hassle of re-leveling all those photon arts I capped...
I say hell no. I'm not restarting.. not even if I was PAID to.

besides, since we're probably going to be able to change our appearance at least a little, I see no point in deleting my char's just because they're a little less -perfect- looking.
And I've already set my characters up to be able to adapt to the classes I will want for them. pa's accounted for, job classes raised, everything's set for AoI's release, all I need now is to cap them again when the lvl's increase and hunt weapons and armors. =3

There's no reason to restart. The hardest thing in PSU is getting charcter levels. You can always change classes and over right PA's if you want to take your character in a new direction. That way you dont have to start with square one for everything. Your character will be able to equip decent equipment and have access to MP for class leveling. The only grinding you'll have to is level PA's. If you want to use another race, just use one of your three alt slots.

The only reason I'd make a new character would be to level acrotecher, which I can do quite easily with my aquaseal (yes, I made a bad pun). So unless I can completely remake Zolafim without losing my pure striking PM, I'm staying. Even if I could, fleshy clothing styles still fail.

Absolutely not. I already have two characters I use normally, and a Cast I stopped using around level 20. I still have an extra slot, but I doubt I will ever use it, cept for shits 'n giggles.

On second thought after seeing some of the neat new stuff casts get I might have to reconsider making my alt my main. Now if I could only settle on what Type I want my cast to be; Fortefighter, Fighgunner, Wartecher, or Protranser. Yay for my Jobless level 50 cast.
