Regional accoutns will never be linked with other areas. That said, if you get it within the next 3 weeks, you could seriously powerlevel due to famicup.

Indeed. We have gotten a new group of importers during the famitsu cup. With 2.5X exp, there is really no better time to start playing.

that'd be nice to be able to do that...i would have had a lvl50 char from the beginning and some others would have had maxed lvl chars too

Do importers get really bad lag when playing?

Not from any of the videos I've seen.

no they don't... not bad lag... let's just say a PC importer has less lag than a PS2 player on the US/EU servers

If you're gonna do it, do as Lyrise said and do it within the next three weeks. A few recent newcomers did so and are milking it for all they can. Of course, this could be said for us senior importers, as well as the Japanese themselves.

No, US and JP servers are completely different. They don't interact with one another in any way

Anyone know where I can get a copy of this version?

Play-asia is sold out, and the best version doesn't come out till July-August.

I haven't experienced any while playing.

It'll take you a while to get use to the interface though, and yes like Kami noted, get it as soon as.

Famicup is fun, fast, and gives generous mesata and MP.

Not quite. It's 1050 yen, that's about 8.62 USD.

JP Amazon Click here (http://www.amazon.jp/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/250-8219602-3427459?__mk_ja_JP=%83J%83%5E%83J%83i&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=PSU&Go.x=0&Go.y=0)

First result, can't direct link to it cause the url has some kana in it messing it up.

Amazon doesn't ship videogames outside of the country, not sure if that applies to PC games though. I heard from some of the new players that they got their copies from NCSX. Another thing you guys can do is get the PS2 version and use the serial there and just download the PC version from the official website

Does that really work?

The PS2 Serial? Yup, our very own Itsuki here does that. Actually what I did was picked up the PC version first, then my importer got the PS2 version. I only picked it up because it had the artbook. XD So then I had a 2nd serial and just shared the account with him and it all worked out. PS2/PC accounts are one and the same. Also, what happens with the download deal is that they offer it for those that have trouble installing from disc. It's a nice alternative. Come into the channel for more details if you're really interested in joining the winning team http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Oh and yes, do so ASAP, Famicup will get you guys nice and caught-up.

How do you DL the game from the site... (can't read japanese, mostly flash stuff on the site aren't helping) :/

Lyrise
Jun 12, 2007, 11:59 AM
Well, there's one setback. You can use the PS2 serial to play the PC version, but downloading the game requires a PC serial. We can gladly help with that, and there's no fear of someone trying to jack our serials anyway (they're one use serials, no exceptions).
