Maybe even have the Jaggo in it give you a PA, whereby if you use it, he comes flyin' out of the tub and tackles stuff...

Yeah, but then it's hardly a 'secret' prize if everyone knows. I imagine it will be the Pan, but I'd like it to be something else. Reason I said Real Hand Spear (and indeed all the 'Real' weapons) is because we don't have a Netcafe reward, unlike the JP version of the event.

I believe it was established that the frying pan verification was added prematurely to Firebreak Trade. Once we hit the 50,000,000 mark (which was inevitable, anyway, I suppose) the option is there to confirm whether or not you qualify to receive one.

It's not "another" method. The 50 million mark has to be reached first, and then anyone who's done all seven missions will receive one. Sonic Team simply decided to add the frying pan verification a bit early.

Since the jp players so far surpassed the requirements, ST decided to raise the requirements for us.

Yes, but I believe they could only buy the real hand weapons by logging in to the game at certain net cafes. It was a promotion. They cannot do that in the US/NA (can I even take my 360 to a net cafe????), so they have to find another way to give out these items, or just not give them out at all.

Correct, but in the update with the new missions, we got 'Confirm frying pan ticket' option. Which makes Bruce kirk out and promise you a pan.

Basically it's there to make sure you've done the required missions for the item--self-confirmation, if you will. I don't believe you need to confirm with Bruce to actually receive one or not, although it couldn't hurt.

the second i get it (if thats what it is) im putting it up for like 7-8mil; so sum n00b comes along and says 'ZOMG WHATS THAT MUST HAVE!!" when ones in their common box....

my friend got away w/ that and sold a Garmet Aura for 3mil >.>

So basically, we worked a lot harder than the PSU jp players in order to get less. Classic. Although, they still may announce the real hand weapons, who knows. I would rather have a puyo aura show up magically in my common box anyhow.

wtf are you talking about? they never once said our prizes will include the Real Hand Gun, Real Hand Spear? and i dont see how anyone had speculation that the secret prize was different. i said this not too long ago in a post that alot of ppl have quite the imagination and expect wayyy to much at one time. there was a reason they got the real had weps and we didnt. sponsorship. thats its. and the reason why we had to work harder than them is because of more platforms. they didnt make it higher to screw us over, they most likely had it planned since the beginning. i mean ppl cant really think that sega is totally winging this whole frigging game if not for jp then for us? that dosent sound like a plan for a big company lol

You don't need any damn sponsorship for a weapon or even a joke weapon! And the reason we had to work harder (I mean SPAM MISSIONS MORE) is more likely because ST saw the results for the Japanese and were well-intentionally upping the difficulty for us but didn't quite think things through (like, comparing populations or looking at how Japan treated Moatoob).

And I want that hand spear. Just because it's f'ing metal. It'll have to do until they let us use air guitars and rocking-out emotes.
