Who here has failed synthing an S rank weapon?

I desperately wanted to find an S rank board and now I have a Gudda Skela board I'm struggling to bring myself to actually synth the damn thing.

It has an 85% chance on my pure striking bot, I just need 14 more ray photons which I will buy tonight and then I'm good to go...

...or maybe I'll wait until my Cast next has three star luck, just in case.

I was also in a party earlier that got Jao's three times in a row and three bear claw boards dropped, two dropped from the same set of Jao's. I must of seen about ten of the things drop but I'm still yet to get one.

Shame luck doesn't affect synths.

I was as scared as you are when synthing my Gudda, but it actually worked! I'd say just go and synth it right now. No point in waiting and becoming more and more anxious.

I know luck shouldn't affect synthing but it seems like it has for me.

I originally believed the luck theory and always synthed weapons on mass when I had at least two star luck, when the idea got put to rest I tried synthing on a day I had no luck and failed two Kat-Zashi's

I'm something like 13/15 on 9* weapons so my good fortune has to run out some time.

But yeah I will definitely synth it tonight.....probably.

if i failed my crea soda I would have punched a whole through my GF (jk). i have yet to find an S rank board. and have only seen the bear claw drop. but just last night I failed a 9* x-bow and 2 pythons all in one session! i have terrible luck with 9*'s!! i couldn't imagine S ranks....!

My pm is excellent at synthing, it seems. It isn't pure, about 85 striking, 5 range and 10 technic. or maybe worse. who knows. Regardless, I do fail horribly at grinding. No matter what. I couldnt get a 3 star knuckle to five. Ever. I tried 5 of the bastards. Used B grinders, too.

Boards for Grade S weapons and armor actually have better success rates than their Grade A counterparts. Ten star, non-Kubara guns and casting weapons, for example, have a rate of 75% with a pure stat partner machine. Unfortunately, it only makes their failure sting that much more.

I haven't made any s rank weapons... nor have i ever failed at making striking weapons. BUT i have failed many times at making shields....

I hunted for my Halarod like crazy for over a month. Spammed Mad Beasts like crazy. When that Jarba dropped it.... it was like wlnning the lottery! After all that work and taking into account the materials I could not believe it when there was a 75% synth success rate AND it would take 24 hours. I love this game but THAT was just cruel. Really. The Halarod.... WORKED! But I really think it's WAY too tough to get S's. I prefered PSO's system insomuch as lots of rares but some rarer than others... No 'luck'.

I made a halarod but failed a uransara at 75%. I wouldn't be afraid of synthing at 85%. Luck doesn't matter. 13 of 15 9* weapons????? wtf. 0/6 s ranks?!!!! You must be retarded. It helps if your pm is the right type.
