View Full Version : I'm having trouble playing PSO on my Wii.

When the privacy policy comes up shortly after putting in the disc, it says to press A to continue, however I press A but it does not seem to recognize my button inputs. I have tried pressing all the other buttons on the gamecube pad as well, but nothing happens.
Any idea on how I can get past it?

If you are trying to play PSO online, on your Wii, then you can stop trying. Sadly, that isn't possible.
If your problem is more general, and you can't get the Wii connected to the internet at all, then you'll be best off to make a post about it in Tech Support. And try to be as specific as possible. (What are you using, where does it go wrong, which error messages do you get, etc.)

He means that you can play PSO on the Wii, but you can't play online. Only offline.

Yes, and just browse around in the forum, instead of hijacking this thread. The topic of the remaining online server keeps coming up regularly.
Asking for specifics is not allowed, before you are tempted.

Even if you find the specifics, you'll still not be able to play the O part of PSO on your Wii. It's a software issue that looks for a hardware that is not available on the Wii to find. Unless you deprogram that aspect, and reprogram the disc, you won't be able to get online on the Wii.

Okay, you cannot play online on the Wii, since there is no broadband adapter for it.
You can on the gamecube if you have the broadband or modem adapter.
But they shut down the servers on PSO so there would be no point anyway.

(Although PSO could be useful online in the lobby for Super Smash bros melee online.)
