Okay, here's how it's done: I ask you how many headless chickens it takes to do a particular task. If you answer correctly, you become the headless chicken taskmaster and issue challenges. If you're wrong, I give the chickens a new task and you must try again. I'll give three people the opportunity to guess the number of chickens before I send 'em off to do something else.

To begin...

I'll say about 20.

1 to get the phone, 5 to dial, 5 more to talk, 1 more to hang up the phone, and 8 to actually get the pizza and pay for it.

0. They're headless and thus, cannot talk.

No winners this round. The headless chickens grow tired of ordering pizzas and move on to greater adventures...

How many headless chickens does it take to negotiate a corn maze?

Edit: I should probably tell you it took five chickens.

Stack em up neckbone to chicken feet, extra half by way of step stool. Use a potato on broken light bulbs for safety and efficiency!

Unfortunately, the answer was four. Guess you guys don't know your headless chicken arithmetic.
But let's try one more:

How many headless chickens does it take to start a fad?

It depends, do half the people in FKL know about them?

astuarlen

Okay, I'll give you a hint. The number of headless chickens it takes to start a fad if half the people in FKL know about them is greater than the number it takes to start a fad if no one knows about them. The number of headless chickens it takes to start a fad if everyone knows about them is greater than the latter and fewer than the former.
