So FKL, how did you spend Father's Day?

I'll start with mine. So today like every year my mother, father, sister, grandmother, and I go bet on horses at the race track. It was a pretty good day for my father and I since I won $50 and he won $67. My grandmother won $7 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif. Originally I was going to use the money I won to buy Pokemon Diamond but instead, I used most of it to pay for dinner at a resturant tonight http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif.

So what did you ladies and gents do today?

Home all day is cool. Though I probably would've won more money if the horses my father bet on didn't pull this "come from behind victory" everytime mine was in the lead at the end of the race. Either way it gave me something to laugh at.

Well, first I went to church early this week, to cash in on the annual Father's Day breakfast; this year, it was biscuits and gravy, which, as far as I am concerned, is the most unhealthy but awesome thing I could have asked for. After that, I got my father's day card out in the mail (I'm bad at sending cards, and do so primarily at the insistance of my wife), and then my wife and I went to my sister-in-law's house, where her family gathered to celebrate Father's Day by giving my father-in-law gifts, swimming and eating meat prepared on my sister-in-law's husband's awesome damn barbeque. Since then, I've been home.

I might have ended up visiting my father, but he lives a good five hours' drive away. Sometime within the next couple of hours, I think I might pull out my soldering iron and fix this 512MB USB flash drive that has developed severe issues over the last few months.

Pulled weeds, gardening by aid of grandma pointing out what to do,
cleaning grill, hosing/wiping down table/patio chairs, watering grass, starting grill,

I called my parents, they were pretty much like: uhh, we'll talk later, we have nothing to talk about right now.

I hung out, studied a little, ate some Jimmy John's, some McDonald's (I will post about that), and caught up on some WoW and Queer as Folk (and the DVD was all like: screw you, I'm not working today). I don't even like that show that much. :/
