The snow was 5 feet high. And we had to walk uphill to get to school, and uphill to get back home. There was no downhill.

When I was your age we had to scale sheer, twenty-meter walls of ice barehanded to get to school. And then when we got there some hotshot pterodactyl from the football team would always swoop in and steal our lunch money, so we'd have to eat cold primordial goo porridge from the cafeteria (and it often had dead trilobites floating in it). Did I mention we had to climb down those same walls of ice to get back home, only to find our humble domicile had been crushed by a renegade lava flow?

You humans and your "cooking". When my species was your age, we didn't have any of this cooking. We ate everything raw, we ate it whole, and we liked it.
