On That Video There Seems To Be Something That Looks Like A Mag From PSO Floating On The Player's Back, Is This True!? Are Mags Going To Be In PSU!?

From what I understand
Madoogs for ranged and
Shadoogs for Tech or could be the other way around.

they are; but not used the same way.

these are used as Casting Weapons (force)

Well they do more than a mag would actualy. Shadoogs will shoot status effects based uppon element and Madoogs of course will shoot spells based uppon the element they have.

Please understand that these Madoogs and Shadoogs are nothing more than a left handed casting weapon. They will not increase your stats as mags did in PSO. They resemble mags, probabaly done for fan service.

Madoogs are left handed casting weapons to which two techs can be assigned. They are akin to a left handed staff.

Shadoogs are left handed equips. I'm not too sure about them, but I believe they automatically fire a spell dependant upon your vicinity to a creature.

No confirmation on procurement yet but they do have letter grades for them so I am gona assume either synthed or found.

i kno Shadoogs were found; but dropped like crazy.
Shadoogs are auto-lefthanded turrets; that shoot a specific element (not spell)

i belive you synthed them too; w/e element you synthed w/ was the bullet elmenet + Status effect.

Shadoogs, shoot bullets not spells. And some of the status's they inflict is different then the normal ones. For example, ground one apply stun rather then silence.

Hm? People are still confused on how this works? I would have expected that, by now, everyone would know exactly what they did. Erm, I suppose I may as well...

Madoogs are nothing more than left handed casting weapons. They're 10% faster than wands and have a similar TP boost, but have terrible pp. Obviously, they're great for meleers, since you can cast spells while using one handed weapons, and still retain some dignity (wands are silly).
They resemble low level PMs in early stages, I'll assume that rare madoogs will be copies of PSO's mags.

Shadoogs are wierd. They automatically shoot bullets at an enemy depending on its element. Its element is determined when it is synthed, like a melee weapon, so you can't go switching it around like you can a handgun. Its status effects are different than normal bullet effects, forgive me if I can't name them all. These are made, it seems, so that you can stun lock enemies with a melee weapon while the shadoog adds additional damage without added effort.
These look like flying guns.

Aww, drat. So these doogies are not any kind of addon, they replace your left-handed weapon? I was thinking they were more like a third "slot" in the sense that characters have weapons that occupy their left hands, right hands, or both; not a whole new weapon type that equips in one of the pre-existing hands.

I never noticed that in any of the videos I watched, I guess I should've paid more attention. They looked more like, say, some kind of unit for armor the way they behaved ...

Nevertheless I still have at least one character who'd make great use of the Madoogs.
