anyone else getting error 51 -.-...

well, my friend is on, and hes right next to me on ps2. So I was taking a break, now im trying to sign in and it keeps giving me error 51. Which is "Could Not Connect To Server. The Server May Be Going Under Maintance". And I see my friend next to me and he looks fine. Anyone having this problem besides me?
