you got vista with out waiting a few years for most companies to release microsoft signed drivers? another bwahahahaha for you. I hope you have dual boot sucker. Vista is NOT the OS you want to have for most video games right now. It's constant warnings and bantering of questions on wether you want to do this or that sucks as well. (I have free access to Vista and other new software through Microsoft's MSDNAA if you're wondering.)

However, I will say this about Vista, much easier to join a network. Actually managing a network I'm not sure about yet. I didn't mess with it much cause I didn't really like it. Hell, I still prefer certain aspects of Windows 2000 over XP.

actually alot of people i know have the same version of vista as me, and PSU runs like a charm for them

so what exactly is the problem? you installed it, and does it not start when you click the icon or does it not start after the little menu pops up and you pick your play mode?

edit: also, I still dislike Vista, and your copy may still be inadvertently hindering you. I doubt all your firends with it have the exact same harware as you do as well. Unless you all bought the same pre-made system 0_o

and you can't select anything before it closes? sounds like something is blocking it from starting, though maybe not.

Oh no, i can select.
If i select "Homepage" it brings me to the PSU hp. if i do options, it goes to options.
If i select story or network, just closes. no gameguard.
