This thread will hold the matches and keep track of the match ups for me since I deleted the Notepad file and can't be assed to make another.

1st round, 1st match

SABRIEL vs DEKUS SCRUB


The first two victims of the arena casually walk in. The green haired enigma known as Dekus Scrub plants his chainsaw into the ground and turns to face his necromancer opponent. Sabriel grins as her cat Mogget climbs down and scurries away. A small robot rises out of the ground and raises a tiny flag.

"Ready!"

The robot's tiny electronic voice seems to echo on forever as the two fighters stare deeply into eachother's souls.

"Go!"

In the blink of an eye the two dart into the shadows. Dekus enchants his chainsaw with a spell and slinks off in the direction Sabriel had left. He can barely make out her figure in the shadow of a crumbling wall when he hears a feint chime. Dekus' pace slows and his grip on chainsaw loosens. He comes to a stop as Sabriel emerges from the shadow holding the Ranna bell. She draws her sword and approaches Dekus as he dozes off. Aiming the point of the sword at Dekus' forehead, Sabriel prepares to make the finishing blow.

"Its not going to be that easy." Dekus declares. In one swift fluid motion he throws a spell at Sabriel's bells and swings his chainsaw at the necromancer.

Sabriel jumps back and reaches for another bell, "So it would seem. This should do the job though."

The necromancer flicks her bell, no sound escapes it. She shakes it, then again furiously. Nothing. Sabriel then turns her attention back to Dekus as he engulfs the both of them in a realm of darkness. The roar of the chainsaw dominates all other sound as blood and an occaional chunk of flesh flies out of the dark world.

Due to FCC regulations we won't show what's going on inside the dark world... but its pretty clear who has won.

1st round, 2nd match

NANI vs SOLSTACE

Nani stands ready, toying with a chain hanging off of her thigh. Her opponent, the bizarre Solstace, seems to have trouble standing.

"Having trouble, baby?" the dominatrix teases.

"No, but you will! BIG TROUBLE!" Solstace proclaims as he laughs maniacally. Nani stares blankly "What, is that supposed to be a threat?"

Before another word could be said a small robot falls from the sky and raises a small pistol.

"Ready? Go!" The robot pulls the trigger of the gun causing him to explode rather than a bullet being fired. As Solstace chuckles at the robot's misfortune a snap from Nani's whip reminds him of the battle. In a bizarre dance Solstace twirls about, swinging his two knives like a blender with weak knees. Nani jumps back and cracks her whip, snatching Solstace's smaller knive from him.

"Hey, THAT'S MINE!" he roars and lunges toward the dominatrix, cutting several of the leather straps on her abdomen. In retaliation Nani deliver's a loud smack with the back of her hand,"Careful jackass, we're supposed to keep it PG-13!"

Solstace mumbles an apology and strikes at Nani's arm, absorbing her whip into his body. He laughs deviously, "What are you doing to do now?"

Nani grins and reaches for her backside and begins to untie something.

"Hey, I thought we were supposed to keep it PG-13!" Solstace shouts.

"I'm getting a book pervert, what do you think I'm doing?" she snaps. Solstace feels his face burn as he blushes. He then shakes his head violently,"Hah, a book! What could you do with that? Learn me to death?"

In an instant he found himself knocked to the ground with a stiletto pushing down on his chest. Nani grins evilly and holds out the book for him to see.

"Oh God no" Solstace cries "NOT LOLI MANGA!"

To spare himself the torment he holds up a white flag as Nani stands over him triumphant.

Erm.... Okay I have no qualms with losing. As a puppet, Solstace would just put himself together but for the sake of this tornament, He's out.

Sol: Meh! I let Nani win, the blood lust just wasn't there. I'll kill Nani later when it isn't expected. ^.^ *Grins venomously*

But for the record.... I thought we were fighting each other.

Then again, that would take too much time and posts.

1st round, 3rd match

POO vs RENA

Rena enters the arena, holding her cleaver out to the side. She comes to a stop in the center and looks around, she is alone.

"Where is my opponent?" the vampire calls out. Suddenly she grasps her nose as a horrible stench wafts under it. Brown objects of various lengths and types congregate opposite of where Rena stands. A figure begins to emerge from the pile, locked in a cycle of falling apart and reforming itself.

"Thats... just... disgusting." Rena cringes as the stench begins to overpower her, causing her eyes to water up. The brown menace gurgles as it begins squatting. To Rena's horror a second entity falls out of Poo's backside and takes a form identicle to a partner machine.

Between the two a small robot climbs out of the ground and raises its trademark tiny pistol. It looks back and forth at the two fighters and shrugs.

"Ready? Go!" The robot pulls the trigger and is immersed back into the ground by the force.

Rena jumps back as Poo throws a volley of feces at her. She looks around frantically and smiles. With a wave good-bye she pushes down on a level protruding from a ceramic bowl. The middle of the arena opens up and Poo begins circling it. Poo roars fiercely as his partner machine is swallowed up. In a desperate attempt it begins lobbing chunks of fecal matter in Rena's direction. In response Rena pushes down on the level again flushing the brown monster away for good.

1st round, 4th match

SHLIGGY vs CAPTAIN FALCON

The roar of an engine can be heard for miles. Shliggy looks to see where it's coming from and sees a feint blue object off in the distance. Before he has time to react it speeds by at incredible speed, kicking up a huge cloud of dust.

Amid the dust he can make out a figure who seems to be kneeling down. As the dust clears the figure stands up, clad in blue, gold, and red.

"Oh, its you." Shliggy comments "Gonna show me your moves?"

Captain Falcon grins and gives Shliggy the New York salute.

As the two take a fighting stance a tiny robot climbs out of the ground and, as they usually do, raises a pistol.

"Ready? Go!" the robot hears a snap and finds that the shot ripped its arm off. It quickly picks up his lost limb and runs out of the arena. Shliggy and the Captain collide and begin trading blows at a high speed. After a good hit to the jaw from Captain Falcon, Shliggy jumps back and throws a Yamato. In response the Captain flips over backwards dodging the photon blade.

Once more the two run at eachother, locking themselves in a series of blocking and attacking. Out of the corner of his eye Shliggy sees one of the Captain's hands begin to glow and feints to the side. The firey fist is thrown with a thunderous "Falcon punch!" The sheer force of the attack makes Shliggy lose his balance. As soon as he hits the ground he brings his legs back and kicks them out, launching himself back to his feet only to be met with the Captain's hand. Captain Falcon grips onto Shliggy's shirt firmly and throws the newman up over head. Shliggy immediately recovers from the attack and turns around in the air to see Captain Falcon leaping up at him. He reaches for his other Yamato and throws it, knicking the Captain in his shoulder.

Both of them land, panting heavily. Captain Falcon stands up and hold out his hand with a smile and gives Shliggy a thumbs up. Shliggy stares at his opponent in confusion as the Blue Falcon speeds up and parks between the two. Captain Falcon climbs into the cockpit and gives a wave good-bye before driving off into the distance.

1st round, 5th match

SARACONOS vs RONIN COOPER

Two more warriors enter the arena. In one corner Ronin Cooper stands ready with an abnormally large caligraphy brush over his shoulder. At his side is Tatsuki, a small green partner machine with a Shotgun in her hands. Opposing him is Saraconos, Sarc for short, a mage that stumbles slightly before coming to a stop.

With perfect timing a tiny robot climbs out of the ground. Ronin and Sarc tense up anticipating their opponent's first move. The robot declares go, but before either fighter could make a move the robot makes a bizarre polyphonic sound as it transforms into a gun and fires. The two fighters recover from their anime-like fall and begin the fight.

Ronin charges Sarc with his caligraphy brush raised. With two swift hand motions Sarc encases Ronin's weapon in a block of ice. Ronin slowly falls backwards from the extra weight, unable to let go of the frozen brush. With a loud thud he hits the ground, immediately springing backwards avoiding a blast of ice from Sarc's hands. Sarc dashes toward Ronin preparing another ice spell. Ronin drops to his fours with Tatsuki lining up a shot behind him. Before the photon bullets are fired Sarc baseball slides out of the way and presses his hand on the ground. Ronin lunges at Sarc only to be cut off by a wall of ice. He turns to the right as another one raises up. Turns to the left, one more wall is erected. He then makes a mad dash in the opposite direction only to be sealed away by a fourth wall.

Through the wall Ronin can see Sarc preparing another spell. "Wait, stop!" he calls out,"I... surrender."

Sarc completes his spell and presses his hand on the wall, releasing Ronin from the frozen cell.

WINNER: SARACONOS

I actually was setting up rules for a tournament. I hadn't decided wether to do it at the time. The character submission is very diffrent then what you all are used to. It forces you guys to think and give me more creative descriptions then normal, nor could any PSO/PSU characters be implemented due to the setup. I still leave a lot of room for creativity, but it requires the ones who are gonna post to be in it to flesh out their characters more. It's annoying as hell when people give really vague, non-descriptive characters. at least IMO.

1st round, 6th match

FAKER vs SORDES

As Ronin and Sarc leave two take their place. One is Sordes, clad in black with a large steel pipe in his hands, the other is Faker, a mage with a snake spiraling around his arm.

As usual a tiny robot emerges from the ground in the center of the arena and raises a tiny pistol. As soon as it says "Go!" Sordes morphs into a lithe and agile form and with a huge burst of speed converges on the tiny robot, kicking it at a high velocity toward Faker. The mage has barely has time to react as the robot collides with his head, toppling him over. Before he can recover Sordes is already standing above him attempting to stab the mage with his steel pipe. Moving as quickly as he can Faker blocks each strike with his staff, throwing a fireball up toward Sordes' face. The shapeshifter holds his weapon in the fireball's path which is seared in half by the heat of the attack. Faker climbs to his feet and jumps back, throwing several spells of various elements trying to deter Sordes' assault.

Morphing into a much larger form Sordes throws the halves of his steel pipe to the side and slips on a pair of steel knuckles. Faker takes this chance to lob a fire grenade at his opponent, who responds by punching it back. Half way between the two fighters the grenade explodes sending the both of them rolling back. Sordes climbs to his feet and walks over to the fallen mage.

"Tsuruu, now!" Faker says as his pet bites into Sordes' neck. The shapeshifter immediately feels the burning poison coarsing through his body and begins swinging wildly as Faker weaves and ducks through each strike. Sordes morphs into a tall and lanky form and continues his blind assault, Faker barely dodges one fist before another cracks against his jaw, sending him reeling backward.

Faker shakily climbs to his feet as Sordes closes in on him. The mage holds his staff firm watching as the shapeshifter morphs between several forms. Finally with a loud thud Sordes succumbs to the poison and drops to the ground.

WINNER: FAKER

Sord, poison may be a lousy way to die, but it's a great way to kill. Just ask the Borgias. 'Sides, it's good if you're a fastidious sort.

Anyway, I'll just be over here, limbering up for the match.

1st round, 7th match

SANOSUKE SHIRANUI vs BEAR

The sun is beginning to set and the arena is cast in a shade of orange. Two of the last four competitors for this round enter the arena, one is a newman accompanied by a tiny Partner Machine, and the other a mountain of muscle hidden in bear skin and shadows.

Sanosuke nods and smiles politely as he dons a pair of Ryo-Misaki. He turns to his Partnet Machine and motions for it to put some distance between her and them. It swiftly obliges and scampers of to the side, preparing for the start.

The ursine avatar remains silent. He grabs the cloak draping over his body and tosses it to the side revealing his rugged body and several plates of armor.

"Y-you're a human?" Sanosuke chokes. The instant the word 'human' is said a massive vein pops out of Bear's forehead as grits his teeth.

Between the two a robot digs itself out of the ground. It looks at Van and then Bear.

"Ready?" The robot runs several feet away from both fighters, looking nervously in Bear's direction "Go!"

With suprising for a man his size, Bear reaches out and barely misses Sanosuke who rolls between his legs and slashes up Bear's back. The newman continues this pattern each time Bear turns to swipe his massive hand.

"YOU DO NO GOOD LITTLE MAN" Bear exclaims "My back is well guarded, your tiny claws will do nothing!"

He then drops to the ground, nearly crushing Sanosuke into oblivion. Bear reaches down and grabs Sanosuke's hands, ripping the Claws away.

"Ha, its my Claws now!" the mountain of muscle taunts, crushing the weapons between his hands.

Sanosuke looks on in horror as Bear reaches down again, lifting the newman up high and then falling backwards. Before he can catch his breath Sanosuke finds his head between Bear's hairy, armor plated thighs. The world seems to spin as he is lifted again, this time dropped on his head. He feels himself being lifted by the neck one last time.

"That all you got? I was expecting more from puny man!"

Bear begins to lift Sanosuke up for the finisher. He then suddenly stumbles foward as several photon bullets pelt his back. With the newman still firm in his grip Bear turns to see Sanosuke's faithful Partnet Machine reloading her shotgun for another blast.

Sanosuke smiles and begins to say something, his voice cut short as he is flung foward, colliding with his unwary partner. "S-sorry, Momoko."

Bear stands over the newman and laughs, "Now we end it, da?"

Bear's massive hand reaches down and grabs Sanosuke by the collar of his shirt. Sanosuke, not ready to go down just yet, lets out a mighty cry as he slams his trusty Ank Barde into the ursine avatar's shoulder. Bear roars in pain and responds by slamming the newman's head into the ground repeatedly. Finally, in a display of raw power, he draws Sanosuke in close. Bear squeezes with all his might, the poor newman screams and kicks his legs trying to get free. A loud snap echoes through the arena. Bear laughs triumphantly and lets Sanosuke's body drop to the ground.

1st round, 8th match

MAX LIGHT vs AST

Here we are at the final match of the 1st round. After this match one can only expect the battles to become more intense.

The last two competitors enter, both with a confident smile on their face. One is a standard Cloud-proxy HUmar, his sword appears to glow in the sunlight as he holds it over his shoulde. The other is a quirky looking person, a huge crossbow held tight in his hands and several vials hang around her waist. Accompanying the scientist is an equally quirky robot, making various sound effects as it goes. Ast motions for it to shut up and the robot complies as if it were never making sounds in the first place.

Wasting no time the last of the tiny robots reveals itself and raises it's gun. "Ready?"

The two fighters ready their weapons and stare into eachother's minds. A gunshot is heard and Max immediately lunges foward. Ast feints back and fires a bolt, which is easily blocked by the broad-side of Max's massive sword.

As the two prepare for the next attacks a loud feedback pierces their ears. The two turn their attention to the tiny referee robot who seems to have not fled the arena or exploded in any way. "The match has not begun. False start, Max Light faces the penalty."

Max stares in confusion,"Wait, that wasn't you?"

Without responding the tiny robot takes aim and places a bullet between Max's eyes.

WINNER: AST

can't remember which one was yours, not like you gave anything significant about him to remember. my main complaint when people give vague simple characters is it leaves little for the author to deal with. If they want to, then by all mean they can go for it. But I've dealt with it before and found it annoying as hell. People complain that it wasn't what they wanted or thought of and crap.

2nd round, 1st match

DEKUS SCRUB vs NANI


Night falls upon the arena and the dome begins to close. The stadium lights ignite to reveal two familiar faces. The enigma in the brown cloak laughs, "You're my next opponent? For a moment I thought I stumbled into a S&M club meeting."

Nani turns to her partner, a fox sitting infront of a laptop and gives it a wink and a thumbs up. The fox merely glances at Nani, takes a sip of wine, and then goes back to the computer.

Like always, a tiny robot emerges from the ground, once again wielding a tiny flag instead of it's pistol,"Fighters ready? The 2nd round of the FKL Tournament is now under way. 1st match, GO."

As Scrub places enchantments on his chainsaw Nani decides to put some distance between them. A small flash of light bursts from Scrub and he begins to run at Nani. The dominatrix readies her whip and snaps it in Scrubs direction, who seems to vanish completely.

In a panic Nani spins sharply and grunts "Old trick is old."

"Not really." echoes in her ear as she feels cold steel press against her back. She attempts to jump to the side but a boot to the back of her knee topples the dominatrix to the ground. The loud roar of Scrub's chainsaw overpowers any other sound as the enigma thrusts it down. In one swift motion Nani springs to her hands and delivers a kick that barely misses Scrub, knocking his mask off.

The dominatrix stares in horror as Scrub's glowing eyes burn fiercely. The flames of hell pale in comparison to the rage eminating from this green haired enigma. Suddenly she bursts out laughing "Geez, if I knew you looked like THAT I'd probably have brought a candle or something with me!"

A chainsaw to the gut ends the laughter.

2nd round, 2nd match

RENA vs SHLIGGY

The moon sits high over head, illuminating the arena in a blue glow. Our two fighters come prepared. Shliggy stands with two Yamato drawn while Rena stares into Shliggy's soul with a devilish grin on her face.

A tiny robot raises from the ground and raises a tiny handgun,"Ready?"

The robot pans his head toward Rena and takes a huge step backward,"Go!"

Neither fighter moves an inch. They stand firm with their eyes locked. Shliggy impatiently flexes his fingers along the hilt of his Yamatos.

Rena's arm suddenly jerks and Shliggy takes a defensive stance. The newman blinks as a bead of sweat runs into his eye, giving a bigger opening than he expected. Rena dashes up close and stabs her cleaver into Shliggy's stomach and then jumps back as he swings a Yamato in retaliation. The grin on Rena's face grows more demonic and she begins to laugh as Shliggy throws one of his blades toward the berzerk human. With incredible speed Rena feints to the side and dashes up close again and the two trade blows, sparks fly as the photon collides with the stainless steel.

Shliggy's vision starts to become blurry but he presses on, trying to keep his opponent from landing another blow. He reaches for another blade and swings it at Rena's head, who dodges the attack like it's nothing. In response she kicks at the newman's shin, causing him to stumble foward. Without hesitation Shliggy throws another Yamato, nailing Rena's foot into the ground. She screams loud and begins stabbing the unfortunate newman in the back repeatedly until he falls into a pool of his own blood.


WINNER: RENA




Next match should be coming along shortly. I might not get the third one done tonight and since I'm going on vacation tomorrow it will be a few days before the 4th match finished. I keep saying this but I'm very sorry, I've been tied up the past couple weeks, payments and junk.

So I said I'd have the next match done ages ago but I'm dropping my previous plan for it since it's being a bitch to put into words. I'll just go with a normal battle instead, maybe the final match will be what I had planned for this one.

So yeah, since I'm doing a normal match now I'll have it up tomorrow.

And guys, I'm incredibly sorry but I'm going to have to let somebody else take over. I just don't have the time that I used to anymore. On sunday, I thought I'd have time to myself, but that was shattered with other issues. I feel bad leaving my tournament like this but I get like.. 10 to 15 minutes on the computer before I end up feeling too tired and go to sleep.
