Has anyone noticed that all shops located in areas out side the main cities are manned by male cast.Life must sukk for those cast being stuck in the middle of know where just waiting for someone to come by to buy or sell something,i also find it funny that these shopes offer gift wrapping service in the middle of know where,i mean who thinks about giving gift on a mission anyway. The worst location for a shop has to be on the hive seed ship, you got to feel bad for the cast that got stuck there.I not saying that it's a bad idea to have these shops out there to help save a character time and trouble of returning to town,it's just the fact that there all manned by male cast that seems odd considering that the cast rule all these worlds. Why would they use there own kind by placing them in such unfriendly locations.

They are robots. They have no soul. Don't feel sorry for them. You should hate them for standing around doing nothing, and getting paid for it. Seriously. Hate crimes should be made against them.

I use the gift wrapping options for when I find something during the mission that I find suitable to give away to friends in a pleasant manner. I also use the gift wrap option to stack on Photons when I reach 99 within my inventory. Just wrap up 99, then you're good to hunt for more.

I wonder if there are a class of disposable cast or maybe there factory cast the where tossed in the reject bin or got bought buy shop owners at a scrach and dent sale and placed out in areas where there defects would be over looked by costumers. The cast must put more value on female cast considering you mostly find them in rather safe areas and only in the main shops in the big cities. It make me wonder if the top cast is a female Hmmm?

Because if they weren't there and didn't offer that service everyone would be crying about it and sending hate mail until they implemented it.

lo-f'n-l!

Actually, if you read it, it could be very poetic misspellings:

Where are we going? Know Where!

"Cost"umers...got "bought buy"...

Very deep and meaningful.

Correct. What we have are a simulation of a personality and soul, to ease our transactions and to make you feel more comfortable when in a party.

I can not speak for the other casts out there. But my creator had implemented the 1st law of robotics within my program.

So on that note....
How may I help you?

Unfortunately, for the rest of you fleshies, the laws of robotics mean nothing to me.

So, on that note...

Correct. Were he, he'd be sitting in a plush Holtes City office using human virgins as footstools instead of standing in the middle of nowhere.

i bet the ones out in the middle of nowhere makes a lot of meseta cuz they don't share the meseta earned since they dont work for shops where the ones in the shops have to give to the manager or somthing... so basically the worst job is getting payed more.... @.@

Well, i think of CAST from their SEGA DreamCAST o.0 figures

Anywho, think of them as a Mastercheif or Robocop or even how Optimus Prime started out http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
They have to learn how to operate & improve themselves.

Well after all the serious topics that have been posted here in this forum it's nice to see that a topic like this can get peoples interest.

The droid that said it best about suffering had to be C3PO,it's are lot in life we've been made to suffer.

I guess this statement could easily fit those poor soul-less out of town shop keepers.

WE THE PLAYERS OF PSU SAULTE YOU FOR HAVING TO SUFFER SO WE DON"T HAVE TO RETURN TO THE CITY TO RESUPPLY.THANKS.

What I want to know is, why does the NPC casts have an optional metallic sound to their voice while we can't?!

That's added detail us casts are loosing out on.

Well, the struggle for CAST rights has already begun in our world, at least in the UK (http://www.ft.com/cms/s/5ae9b434-8f8e-11db-9ba3-0000779e2340.html).

But in Story Mode, isn't it Bruce who runs all the shops? He's everywhere, and he's Human. Fleshies win again, even if is just a human http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Bruce is a solo shop operater he travels all over in his ship but the male casts that man the outpost shops never travel, there forever stuck in the limbo sale zone.

Cast characters also have metallic tone to the voice, though it is subtle.

The cast shopkeeper guy is hot. I'd hit it.

And you gotta wonder how casts feel about PMs. I mean, dude, PMs are basically slaves, but they evolve into little tiny lolibot casts. D:

I've thought of that, too. Maybe they're involved in some CAST-related conspiracy.

We've always made fun of this guy a bit...
Saying he's the evil mastermind behind everything GRM etc.
"How May I help You....(TO DIE!!!)"

He's also this wierd greenish skin-tone that you can't quite seem to get with your own chars, mixed with that combo of red hair/yellow eyes, he's somewhat garish or corpse-like. His skirt-like+suspenders combo outfit doesn't help his case.

Either way, he's got to be like Lou, how there are many of her, there's many of him and he's just told to stand there and rip people off. To spite him, I always use the female version when I visit the big shops.

(and coming from an android, I prefer the blueish corpse-pale rather then the vaguely rotted greenish skin...but def. need the metallic note to the voice! I was so dissapointed when it was absent from the voice picker thing) Fix this, Illuminus!

Let's see, PM conspiracy theory...

PMs are like, humans that pissed the casts off and they transplanted their brains to this little floating robot thing. And Pete is Ethan's father. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I have information directly from the President to share with my fellow GUARDIANS. As the only Partner Machinery assigned as a mobile GUARDIAN, I pride myself in being an ambassador for my fellow PMs. We PMs are a actually proud that we can assist so many GUARDIANS throughout the Gurhal system. I have been fortunate enough to be free roaming, in exchange for my own synthesis capabilites, and while I do miss them, the fight against the SEED and the Illuminus has been a tiring job, and I sort of miss my old one. But nobody should not be worried about any of the CAST models and their prototypes; it was agreed that our logic and lack of natural emotion would be the most appropriate for social order. This was agreed upon at a certain meeting (I'm sure everyone knows about it...).

All of the personel you see at various stations outside of the city limits are employed legally, and are in business for themselves. They also have means to protect themselves, and have had GUARDIANS and/or AMF members secure the areas in which they do business. The exception is an illegal weapons shop owner stationed at HIVE #3, and he has a liscence to sell his wares. All allegations about Bruce Boyd and an army are false. He is an ally of the mobile GUARDIANS unit, and has been around to support us in very crucial times. He inspired us to employ the very CASTs aforementioned, as he cannot be everywhere at once. No information about the PM PETE can be disclosed at this moment.

Well i guess bruce's goal is not finacil domination but still that dosen't make it seem any more fair to his outlander shopkeepers,i just hope they are not stuck in their current locations 24/7 without getting a work break to freshen up back in the city, even a cast needs a little pampering once in awhile,i mean whats the point of all your work if you don't get to enjoy your reward.
