Single guns are there for style, not for actual use. Maybe a backup if you can't carry anything else but dual weapons, aside from uzis, are very light.

i think the purpose of singles is if you go overweight like I did (though I chose to go to single sword instead of single gun)

They are equal weapons, it's a matter of taste really.

print screen doesn't always work for games, and it doesn't for gunz, because I tried that last night. Also, I looked around and apparently the screenshot key for Gunz is F11.

Oh, and as for Dual Swords vs. Single.
Single sword has more striking power, but duals have more combo hits......Thing is, at about lvl 10, combo's are utterly useless, lvl10 is about the time where K stylers (People who use the insane jump dashing technique) Become common. And just to let you know, you're totally boned if you never learn how to do the same >_<.

the only real skill in it would be accuracy, but more importantly, the ability to dodge aruond large hordes of enemies without getting stuck or stunned in the middle of the group. If that happens, your ass is owned.

Anyways, for the real reason I got back on. Me, Sgt, and Night_Raid had a handicapped 1vs2 match (Night_Raid vs Sgt and me.) The first few games, he wiped the floor with us. Then me and Sgt started to actually work together. Sgt used the rocket launcher for splash and I used uzi's for spread. We won that round thusly (bwaha.) Then a most epic of battles did follow, as Night_Raid equiped his rocket launcher and another game ensued. It was exlposions and bullets everywhere. During a point I died, and it was Shiggles vs Night_Raid, and Shiggles nailed him. Since I had died I was watching the game from Sgt's point of veiw, and nailed a perfect screenshot of the kill, bwaha!

Eh. It was smooth sailing at Mansion until you guys switched it to a map comprised of 60% open land (Spray and pray) I honestly have no idea what the HELL took you guys so long to move around. I could sneak behind the building at the end of your road before you guys even made it down. Although I could estimate your movement time pretty well, usually enough to set up an ambush. In the later games of the second map it was a real bitch trying to sneak up on you guys with all that open space and slow movement.

Of course not! That's twice the ammo I have to use! During the first few mansion games it was pretty easy to predict, out manuever, stalk, ambush/Pick one off, elude, repeat. Sord was usually the first to go XD. Then it was just a matter of eluding Shliggy after he spotted me. Then repeat the process again for Shliggy. As you can see, the PVP DOES require strategy...Especially when you're using Predator/Hunter style XD
Heh. To be honest, I was almost cracking up at the fact that the two who were supposed to be doing the hunting were the ones getting stalked XD. Just about every Mansion game I would tail you guys long enough to find an advantegous spot or a weakness(I.E. Sord lagging behind, lol) to attack.

Then came the Town map. Which is 60% open space, making my job SO much damn harder. As Shliggy just rocket spammed everything in sight and Sord uzi sprayed everything in sight...So there wasn't much breathing room. From there I won maybe two of the ten matches.

We're definitely doing another predator game- This time on my maps.

Shliggy and I were thinking about refining a new type of game out of the predator game we were playing.

Predator (2v1)
Requirements: 3 Players, two preferably lower levels, and one high level. And Team Death Match

The predator (Me) goes against a two man team (Shliggy and Sord) On the map the predator selects (Usually one with lots of twists and turns) and the predator, who by the way has more powerful weapons has to eliminate the two man team, or vice versa. The best part of predator is the importance of tactics required to eliminate the other team because the predator's job is to use stealth tactics to gain the upper hand over the two man team. I.E. Stalking, ambushing, eluding, hit and run.

Hunter (3-4v1)
Requirements:Five players, four players of any level with starter armor and first level dual automatic pistols. And one "Prey" who can be of any level and equip whichever load out he/she wishes. Team Death Match
In this game, three to four weak hunters will attempt to kill one powerful player who's not limited to equipment restrictions. Stealth tactics are encouraged as well.

Once I get to high enough to make a stairway game, I'm considering making a Sniper Mode
Stairways is the largest map to date, it's simply as mass of stone stair structures floating over a pit. It's MANDATORY that you learn to wall climb to play on this map though. This is all still in the thought process. Sniper: (2v2) Stairway- Team Deathmatch (Team elimination) Each player with a single revolver. Each player decides a perch to hold. The players can move around. But ONLY on the small square that they decide to hold. Basically. Long range rev sniping until one team survives. Will you choose evasion to stay alive? Or will you carefully aim your shots in order to dispose of the opposition as fast as possible?

I could sneak behind the building at the end of your road before you guys even made it down. Although I could estimate your movement time pretty well, usually enough to set up an ambush. In the later games of the second map it was a real bitch trying to sneak up on you guys with all that open space and slow movement.

Of course not! That's twice the ammo I have to use! During the first few mansion games it was pretty easy to predict, out manuever, stalk, ambush/Pick one off, elude, repeat. Sord was usually the first to go XD. Then it was just a matter of eluding Shliggy after he spotted me. Then repeat the process again for Shliggy. As you can see, the PVP DOES require strategy...Especially when you're using Predator/Hunter style XD
Heh. To be honest, I was almost cracking up at the fact that the two who were supposed to be doing the hunting were the ones getting stalked XD. Just about every Mansion game I would tail you guys long enough to find an advantegous spot or a weakness(I.E. Sord lagging behind, lol) to attack.

Then came the Town map. Which is 60% open space, making my job SO much damn harder. As Shliggy just rocket spammed everything in sight and Sord uzi sprayed everything in sight...So there wasn't much breathing room. From there I won maybe two of the ten matches.


as for why it took so long, it became pretty well apparent that you were maneuvering yourself into positions where you could have the advantage. at that point it makes more sense to go at you from a diffrent angle or wait until you make a move.

also, while me lagging behind Sgt may have screwed me over in the mansion, worked wonders in the Town. I usually kept an eye out behind me, and if you ever jumped Sgt ahead of me I could spray. In fact, that happened quite a bit in the allyway, probably the worst place for you to do so because you can't move as much which makes my spray area much smaller.

I also did nail a kill a couple times with dual revolver, not everything was spray, just most. You move around to much for pure accuracy based (at least our accuracy) so it makes more sense to spray when possable. When you used a gun yourself, half the time it was an automatic rifle or something, which doesn't spray as much, but it still does.

You are freaking good though(or maybe we suck, or a bit of both,) but I've only played for three nights now >_> Haven't even played half the maps and have only done 4 game modes.

Oh yeah the question about range weapons. Well it seems I can't decide between the dual pistol, uzis, rifle, and shotgun. Mainly I use the uzi and rifle but I started using the pistols for damage. My only problem is I lose more often with the pistols because of their low bullet count.

So my question is. Should I stick to what I feel more comfortable with, or keep trying the Pistols until I can get it right?

Rifles and pistols are equal weapons. I recommend rifle personally, but pistols could work as a backup for the rifle. Pistols have the best range in the game, as do revolvers.

well, its a 3rd person shooter where you can run off of walls. The point is to shoot the other people, or stab them with a sword or dagger or do quest mode and do the same thing but to a bunch of monsters. Very fun.

Gunz tends to group games based on level. I don't know if you need to be a certain level to equip different stuff, etc.

Certain lvls equip different stuff such as outfits that increas defense and new weapons.

Im not sure if Shligg used it but Van used his "Quote cannon " a few times.

My computer cant run it that good for some odd reason. I run Perfectly in Quests but in Deathmatch i lagg terribly.

Er...Something like that. Minus the Korean and well....Bullshit storyline. Gunz is basically....You zoom around wiht a sword or dagger, shoot people to hell, slice them to hell. Whichever floats your boat. personally I'm more predisposed to slicing. LVL's don't really make much of a difference beyond being able to equip different weapons/clothes/items. So it's not all just "I R 20 U 10 Me>You" As it's based almost entirely on skill.

Plus, if you read over the game that Shligg, Sord, and I played, tactics are helpful.
