Congratulations, all. I will consider opening up another auction in the near future, but for now I think I'll just get back to playing the game. On a final note, I was very impressed with the number of offers I received, and I am very appreciative to all of you who did participate. However... I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the bids on the majority of the offers. This was not a garage sale; this was an opportunity for me as a player to branch out my shop farther than in-game, and for you as fellow players to be able to find good, decently-priced items without having to spend hours upon hours in PSU's horrible shop system.

Despite underwhelming bids, I do sincerely appreciate the time and effort you all put into my auction. Please do not forget that, and I hope to see you all in the field!

Sadly, I'd forgotten to put a minimum bid on the Kitty Claws. I apologize to those who had already bid on it, I completely spaced it off when I put it on there.

Oh sheesh; I read Kyo's message and didn't think to read your post, Typheros. >< She said she'd covered it, so I didn't think twice. And to clarify once more: please, please people... reasonable offers. 50k for a deathmaker is horrendously ridiculous, even without a minimum bid. I understand this is a way for people to get semi-cheap items, but it is also a way for me to get my stuff out there without having to wait for shop turnout. Please try to keep market (or rather, as this is an auction, just a bit lower-than-market) value in mind when making offers.

Now if you just haven't gotten around to it, I apologize, but if our bids were rejected I'm sure we'd like to know, and we'd also like to know what you would personally consider to be reasonable bids for said rejected items. I understand that you're looking to profit off of this, for obvious reasons, but I personally am getting a little tired of guessing games and would rather just see what's to be considered "minimum bid" for some of this stuff. There's a reason you can specify things like that on eBay and other auctions.

For me specifically, I was bidding on the Nightwalker 26% Ice, the Nightwalker 22% Earth, and the Nightwalker 26% Light.

I see melee weapons in shops at a constant rate of 200-350, with ranged and force equips at an almost universally-accepted rate of 400-450k. This is what I base it at, and what I have sold for in the past (I've actually sold a bit lower than standard). I already added your bid, Ryoki, and you still have two days in which my mind could easily change upon rechecking shops before the 9th. =P As for the worth, I agree that it should not be worth 1mil, but I also have to take into consideration the following things:

I've done hundreds of runs in S and S2 colony missions, and at my current count have found a total of zero Del boards and 1 Deljaban Blade. This tends to make me believe it isn't quite as common as you make it seems, as well as the fact that each mat and board sells in shops for approx 1mil a piece. And I have never seen any Del weapon in player shops for less than a million, unless they missed a zero when they put it up. It is only 10% dark, but that is offset by the +10 and the rarity in and of itself; I'm not expecting like, 10mil for it or anything, but the final thing I have to take into consideration is the current economy. If we were on 360 I'd be rocking low prices everywhere, trust me. As it is I have to worry about how much inflation I can allow in my prices and still have them be fair.

Please don't take any of this as a denial of your offer; as I said before, I still have two days to double-and-triple-check shop prices to determine if I could make more by simply placing items in my shop. I assure everyone who has bid thus far that I will not be denying ANYONE until I have checked each individual price. I pride myself on being a trustworthy and honest player, and anyone who has done business with me can attest to that.

My next auction... will most likely be more of a shop expansion. Everything is given a price, can be negotiated, and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. No offense...but in an acution they always have a minimum bid for everything. if there's no minimum bid it's assumed the minimum is 0. many people offered what they could either afford, or what they felt the minimum they should expect to pay in most circomstances. the idea beaing that if anyone else wanted them they'd offer more. That said if I can expect to pay at most 500k for a 9* gun, I won't bid that much because A) why place a bid for something when Im offering as much to maybe get it in 6 days when I could runa shop search now and go get it for that much if not possibly less; and B) if someone else wants it they'll bid higher than me, which would start a bid war and hike up the price beyond reason. the minimum bid is to make sure you as the seller at least break even...but it's not fair to buyers to make them guess and not even know if you find their bids acceptable. Even ebay on bids with reserves actually say "(reserve not met)" if the seler wouldn'r agree to those prices.

fyi I've actually found deals as low as what I offered, and in the future, if you conduct something like this again, I suggest you. put minimum values (IE: your costs) next to every item. so that a bidder has to beat that to get it, but they could offer even 1 meseta higher and know their bid is acceptable. You'd have far less angry people at the end of the day.

I am very dissapointed on how this auction turned out =/ , as Nilok Lives already has stated if you had no intention of selling a particular item below the market value that you deemed right, you should have at Least assigned a minimal value to it.

I had been paying attention to this thread all week long and holding out some of my tech/bullet training until I recieved those items in the list. If I knew my offer had not been accepted I would have: a) posted a better bid, b) made them myself, becuase these are weapons (the rifle) that I can buy for cheap at a NPC store and just grind till I get them to 10 or C) would have invested those 6-7 days looking at the player stores =/.

While I understand that you want to make a profit, please do not make an auction like this again if you are not going to comply to the bids or you plan to trade certain items,I would hate to bid 50 million meseta on a ME/Quick be winning and then discover you traded it for a weapon. If an item was set for auction it should be reserved for that auction until it's over.

I really do feel like I have greatly wasted my already very limited time =/

On the other side of the coin, I do have to add. I do not approve of a player posting a high price on a item and then going "I take my bid back". Bidding does not work that way =/, once you offer,you are responsible to keeping to your word of buying at that price until someone beats your bid.

...if I didn't have 359739653 PMs to respond to with the same thing, I might be a bit more likely to explain that I had realized a bit too late that there were a few things I could have done to make the auction a bit smoother. I was not defending against anything other than people complaining that they did not win their items; saving face is not something I need worry myself with, since I'm trying to promote fair and decent shop prices.

As for the minimum bids, I mentioned AT LEAST four times in the past week what I expected from the 9*s, both in the original post and in numerous posts. If anyone had read them, they would know this. I have already determined that an auction holds far too many complications (as is rather evident, wouldn't you agree?), and so I will be falling back to an extended shop.
