Doesn't look that much better--or any better at all--to me. It's hard to tell from screenshots the size of a postage stamp whether or not there's any real improvement. I gotta say it really doesn't seem likely that there is, and from those shots I'd say it doesn't LOOK like there is, either.

the interesting thing with those pics is the one with the guy sitting in front of the silver tv. that tv is a wide format tv. cant tell if the screen is deformed or if it is in wide mode, but wide mode support would make me drool.

My 7th grade Social Studies teacher would let us take in our Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis systems and play them on the class TV. He also let us watch "The Three Stooges", because that was one of his favorite shows of all times. (He would also use it as a learning tool, pointing out some obviously prejudiced references against the Japanese that were prevalent in that time period, recent historical things, and so on.) Also, if kids drew in class, he would ask if he could photograph their drawings onto the backs of tests for everyone to see, so people would draw things and give them to the teacher.
He kicked ass. I miss him. Don't know where he is today. He left the school and went off to be a librarian somewhere, the office told me, but they don't know where.

Lol.... Kayumi, don't expect a decent response from this guy, he's one of the biggest fanboys around. He could've said something like "Hey, here's some picxs of the X-BOX version" instead of "XBOX looks better than all versions ROTFL L33T ph33r!!!"
I don't see anything different there myself. The only thing different is the boxart, and the ridiculous amount of cables coming from the controller.

Those pics look no different than the pics I've seen of the GC version. No difference at all, zero, none, nadda. And don't go calling me a GC fanboy, cause I don't own a GC, in fact, I only own an XBox, and I am getting XBox PSO. Only thing is, I'm not bias like you are.
Saying Xbox PSO is better looking than other versions is like taking a dump in a toilet and saying your crap smells better than the piles left by your pet dog outside.
Just a thought.

All I can tell you is that the bottom cord is the main controller cord...I have a feeling the other two are for the voice support and such...

The top cord is the Voice Communicator. The middle cord is the USB adapter for the keyboard. The last cord is the controllers cord.
From these screenshots, the Xbox version seems to have one different graphical aspect than that of the GameCube version, adn that's the button map in the lower-right of the screen.
It also seems to support widescreen, seeing as the picture of the guy playing on a widescreen TV doesn't have stretched graphics, and the overlays are still in the corners, even though farther apart.

if you look closely the GC version would look the same on that TV cause if you look closely. Everything is streched a bit Horizontally to make up for the size of the screen.

IMO (and I'm a GC owner here), the graphics do look a little crisper and cleaner. However, the jury's still out on whether that's the X-Box version having been cleaned up a bit (entirely possible--they did spend more time on it) or due to better video equipment (such as HDTV and/or better video cables).
Of course... it's all irrelevant... the gameplay is going to be the same, and that's all that counts.
Personally, I'm curious to see which version does better. I've heard that X-Box is a flop in Japan, but I believe it has a sligthly larger user base here in the U.S. (However, I haven't checked my numers recently). GC is more accessible to people without Broadband, but GC PSO charges it's own separate fee, while X-Box is one fee for all the games. Additionally, PSO is currently the ONLY online game for GC.
The keyboard is a big problem for GC, but it's possible that a US KB will be out before the X-Box PSO, and if not, either way, there will eventually be a Third-party KB. And speaking of things coming out earlier, the GC version has been out already... I wonder how many fans who own both systems and already bought GC PSO are willing to shell out another $50 for the game and start over with new characters.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting this, is because I think the version that does better will indicate which platform the sequel will come out on, regardless of what has previously been announced (everyone knows that early details about games are not absolute).

I must say that the XBOX PSO graphics look a *little* better, but that stands to reason, as the GCN version came out three months before the XBOX version will be out.
Of course, the graphics don't really matter. Sure, they look pretty, but it's PSO's timeless gameplay that really matters.

I have a Widescreen HDTV, and PSO doesnt look stretched, the XBOX version could have WS support, but if not the game doesnt looked stretched anyways.

OK I may be missing something here, but in those screen shots, it shows them fighting a BARTLE in the forest, and an Ice Dragon. Where do these take place in the game I havent seen them yet? I have the GC version.
