PS2-PSU anyone else having ps2 freeze at Dimmagolus?

I started noticing this happening to other ps2 players yesterday and now its happening to me. It always freezes right when Dimmagolus is about to lift up for flight for the first time. Is this happening to a lot of ps2 players here as well?

Didnt happen to me but I got disconnected at b3 twice

Other people in my party dc'd to come to think of it.

I bet ST is trying to get rid of ps2 players.

Never happend to me, But then again i take care of my game discs and never freeze.

Maybe there is a correlation with the increased d/c and game freezing. I tried fighting Dimmagolus offline today and never had it freeze. So it appears not to be a hardware issue for me at least.

Both my boyfriend and I play on PS2 and neither of us has had any freezing issues with the game what-so-ever. Our DT S2 runs go smoothly, as do our battles with Dimmagolus.

Another person in my party had it happen at the same time as me so I have a hard time believing the problem is scratched disk/ dirty lens. Plus I fought Dimma a few times offline with no problems.

Hasn't happened to me once. Then again I've only fought Dimma about 3 times. Could possibly happen later on down the line. >_>

Dummagolus was about to fly then suddenly screen FROZE....
