What do the PM Device GH4#0 do?

I saw in the variety shop that you can buy PM Device GH410-450, but what does this do?

Can you take a level 1 PM, give it to them, and instantly get a 410-450 type? If so, does that ever change based on the items you feed it? I'll stop jumping to conclusions now, someone please explain this for me, thanks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

No, the change your PM 4#0 into a different version, of the same model.
Meaning, if you had a 410, you can change it to a 411 or 412, or back to a 410.
And no, you cannot jump it from lvl 1-80 in one shot like that. The PM system would
be broken, and everyone and their mothers could get a PM without even trying.
