I used to be a really bad pack rat, but more recently I've realized that I'm much better off selling the things I don't need or use -- especially the really common materials. It's better to make some money off of the stuff that would've just been sitting there in my PM.

Also yes, I was asking if you keep everything you find, but was also asking if everyone literally looks for EVERYTHING! Opens every box, and even using goggles to look for breakable trees. Since I solo 95% of the time, I tend not to party much because of this reason, since I feel it will slow them down, even though it really doesn't since my goggles are always on my pallette. With the exception of timed missions, it just drives me nuts when too many peeps just blow the boxes by, and don't even give them a second thought. Same with the trees. Back in the PSO days, parties used to break every single box every time we played. Guess that habit rubbed off of me still. That's basically what I asked in my first post as well.

I also made the point of items I know won't sell well in my player shops ( Sabra for example ) so I just usually straight up sell this kind of stuff to NPCs. But like everyone who has poted so far, I don't throw much away either. i generally keep everything i find with the exception of these items:

truffles
sol atomizers
koltova milk/olaka meat etc

If I could post a SS of my storage inventories, you'd all think I had a mental illness.

Put it like this, A PM can hold 300 items. I filled my first up in less than 1 week after I got the game in October. I still have all that stuff and I have move it around to different PM's so I can store in more stuff.

I'm a pack rat, I have over 50 holiday/event decos (like 10 xmas trees lol), and I keep lots of useless stuff in my poor PM lol
