Who is your favorite lady of anime?

Just wondering who everyone's favorite female anime character is.

Mine is Major Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. She kicks more ass than most people put together, not to mention she also fights crime in thigh highs and a corset.

I'd have to agree on that, even though my knowledge of anime/manga is pretty limited.

I've got Ghost in the Shell and Ghost in the Shell 2, and have started watching Stand Alone Complex, and they're incredible.

Motoko rules- I like characters that are initially pretty cold/reserved, and how they develop...and she totally kicks ass, which is a plus.

She will splatter your head on the floor in a split second, she's got that hard to understand kind of attitude, she really can be nice but if she DOSEN'T like you then you pretty much die. Adding to all of that shes got hot red hair and those eyes... Plus this is the only anime that brought me close to tears and made me somewhat emo for a week. Ahh the gore.

I'm a fan of Mutio, from Blue Submarine No.6. Levia was probably partially modeled after her, since they share similar traits. I also like her design, one of the few fish people I've seen that don't look hideous (besides zoras), and I loved her personality.

Armitage the III, I can't think of anyone male or female more bad ass, the only thing that bugs me is that she gets very little recognition!
I bought the movies, but they were used and seriously scratched, I can't even watch the second movie and the problem with the first is that it's an entire OVA series condensed into one movie so it kinda left me going WTF? "It's like they took out whole chunks of the movie... oh wait thats what they actually did... SON OF A!"

Yeah, Armitage the III is probably the one series that got me into watching some Anime. Saw it on TV when I was a little kid, and picked it up on a whim later on. Loved it ever since. I've got both movies and the OVA series. The OVA is nice for all the deleted scenes it includes that help flesh out the story - but the voice actors were just terrible compaired to Elizabeth Berkley and Keifer Sutherland. I didn't really care for Juliette Lewis's VA work either - but then again, I've never cared for her as an actress. Also, the "Generic cool" heavy metal riffs in Duel Matrix were distracting and poorly excecuted.

the scary thing is that i think james it prolly the most attractive in that photo, but only because of the bigger breasts, no line to show that they are fake, and his hair looks better than Jesse's...

btw: for those who don't know, that is from the real anime...it was just cut from the american episode.

it's from the live action tv show series which only lasted a season...decent series but it takes large leaps away from the original story.
