meh, finally got to watch it. I like the old theme song better, but then again I skipped the theme song everythime after the first 3 eps anyways. Getting intresting, older Rena looks good, aside from you know, being depressed from having all of her friends killed in the gas attack or whatever this show's plot turns out to be.

technically, she's dead in that arc, because Rena got the journals shortly before the woman's death. the new one is the sequel to that arc, so she's dead unless there is some plot twist.

not everyone died! though a majority of the population did die in 2 of the archs. Rena's maggot one and the one when the main male character kills that uncle and everyone he wishes to die, dies, including the town in the end. However, at the end of that one of the newscasters said he was the only survivor, so Rena should technically be dead in that one.

Rika is dead, and Oiishi even said she can "revenge her dead friends" (olo!)
so this will be a laaame arc

this is the sequal where Rena went crazy and had maggots. Which from what I recall, didn't actually end with most of the town being killed off. It's a new development in that arc.
