Again, they'd manage to draw it out. Mutants are ingrained in the Marvel universe. Everybody with an on-going series would have an issue or two dedicated to the character grieving their lost mutant friends.

Personally I feel its just bad decisions by the Editor-in-chiefs. Both Joe Q at Marvel and Dan Didio at DC keep killing off the fun characters or making them "dark and edgy". Burn 'em at the stake and pray that the new guys are smarter than that.

There is only, Franklin,Rachel,Bobby,Josh,Rachel,Gabriel and Jean.
Only 7 not a lot. And half of them ain't worth shit as they are not confident.

Not necessarily something to scream broken but like Spawn and Norrin Radd they are limiting themselves.

Yeah, Supes is incredibly over powered, I've only liked him everytime he faces Captain Marvel or in Elseworlds like Emperor Joker and Red Son.

But back on the subject, Elixer has potential to be an interesting character. Aside from him the only omega I can stand is Iceman. Jean Grey can't pick if she wants to be dead or not, Franklin had a hand in creating Heroes Reborn(ugh), Rachel beat Galactus but lost to him at the same time on a deeper level, Kid Omega is ugly as sin, Vulcan simply shouldn't exist, and I guess Mister M is cool for now since I haven't read anything featuring him.

Rachel stalemated a weakened Galactus now if she was handling a 100% Big G then she'd be broken. Franklin suppresses his owner power Kid Omega loves to over compensate, Vulcan is an emo Kid and Mister M, well he just wanted to be free.

Marvel does a good job in making them still be human. Some other comics don't do that.
I say they should leave them alone unless they have a good role like in,"Here comes tomorrow."

I'm not saying Rachel is broken, the reason I don't like her is because she's a little reckless. I used that fight with Galactus as an example because while she did beat him he still won because of his explanation of how her powers work and why he does what he does.

I have nothing against them wanting to be human. My gripe is they should just be human. No potential world-ending power, just a human. It makes me feel sorry for Iceman, its like they gave him the secondary mutation and upgrade to omega just for the sake of creating drama.
