You have put forth an extremely general question here. If you're looking for which race would be better stat/class wise, CASTs are generally going to be the best.

My two cents is that all races are generally equal in value, and to play whatever you think is coolest.

Of course you know most people are gonna chose cast over the other three since that's the race that allows for noobs to do what they do best, be unskilled noobs. I think in the long run, casts will have the worst end of the stick when compared to the other three.

I agree w/ Sounomi, CASTs fail WAY more with their TP than Newmans with their ATP and Beasts with their ATA which isn't horrible if I say so myself. I just wish that Sounomi's post can be drilled into Mikaga's head so that he'll stop crying all the time.

thing is the classes where casts really shine don't care about tp anyway. fG, FF, FG, PT. So what if my TP is 50? the class can't use techs! GT? the only tech they use that requires TP is resta. that means only WT and FT are the only class where you're at a disadvantage with a cast. I'm not saying casts are amazing, but they really do quite well in just about every class where it might make sense for them to. Low evade doesn't mean much for a fighter class anyway. I'd rather take 100 damage than have my PA interrupted. I can heal while I attack, but getting pinned down blocking? -_-;

Come AoI this will change though. Evade will have a use for hunter types, so casts won't shine quite as brightly, which is fine....as it stands now, you can call cast a noob race all you want...but I can't help but detect a little jealousy mixed in with that distaste.

second or third...it can be argued that beasts and casts are better for any raw fighting class...more HP...more ATP..and one of them even had better ATA. plus their specials use their base stats as modifiers, so the fighting classes only make those abilities even greater...

Well Guntecher does not rely much on TP and wartecher is debatable imo (AOI might make Cast a bit weaker as a wartecher.... maybe). Other than that, offensive capabilities of a Cast are more than enough.
