Trashcan and landfill I used interchangeably here.

Since everybody knows what a trashcan is, but we have the threads about what's a landfill or 'the FKL is really some New York Landfill - wiki source linked.'

So putting the current trashcan into a bigger one, not necessarily saying this one is small as its 378xxx posts big.

Garbage ball meteor was going to hit the Earth as back in Fry's time a landfill's worth of garbage was rocketed into space in a ball.

Fry lead a charge to build a second garbage ball to rocket into the last one to knock it off its impending path with Earth.

You know, it seems pretty easy.

Just put the contents of FKL on a rather large hard drive, put it in a rocket, and launch that sucker.
