I think the GM's decided they feel like being GM's now.

That's a good thing! Maybe we'll get more in game messages.

I'm actually kinda sorry I wasn't here to see it. Maybe they're taking initative finally. But what will come of this? Just morning messages?

Well I prefer any messages over nothing. It would be funny to be doing a mission, then something like "SHOOP DA WOOP" scrolls across the screen, XD

It would suck if these were only for cheesy company messages like "Enjoy the new update!"

I think it's more to warn of recent threats, like that room hacking that just happened. Possibly to warn players of current dangers and to take precautions.

In the event of an online hurricane all Guardians are advised to leave the planet and seek shelter aboard the Colony until the storm subsides. In the event of SEED Invasion all Guardians are advised to defend what you can and accept any losses thay may come about. In the event of a Loli attack all Guardians are advised to run in terror.

Something like that?

I'd even enjoy something corny. Hell, maybe it would make those conflabbed boring party members say something.

I would so piss my pants if that happened. ST would officially be 50% cooler in my book. XD

Then ST needs to get some Screwdrivers for the whole staff. It's a welcome change.

Dam. And I missed it. Perhaps it's to remind us that GM's ARE around on occation? I remember back in the first week of FB (if i remember correctly), we were suppost to mention a certain phrase within our party message to entise GM's to join a mission in progress. And they'd show up once a week during FB (something like that?).

I've seen random rooms with this for a day or 2. Then ppl just forgot all about it. (including me)

Kinda cool, but I'm not impressed. If they want to impress me - then add a counter to the Guardian's Colony where you can leave message to GM's about concerns in the game or for ease of reporting for players who are on the 360 and PS2 version of the game. Kind of like a complaint box you see in some businesses.

Also, there's a feature of your Visiphone which is supposed to notify you of upcoming events, changes to game play, contests, new missions, maintinences, tips, etc. You only ever use it in offline storyline and extra mode. It would be nice if Sega actually used that once in a while.
