So i know they both drop in hive in extra mode.But.....have any of you actually found one?I have ran hive in extra mode now officially 300 times and have found neither.If any of you have found them i just wondered a few things.What enemies do they drop from?Does anyone know what the drop rates are?Have i not run it enough or am i just really unlucky?oh well,time to run it again i guess.

I've found at least six of each of those items in 46 hours in extra mode. O.o; The Daggers drop only from Pannon, and the Whitil Wings only from Delsaban. I find it easiest to just run the first several rooms (each branching side) and restart.

Indeed. Xenith hit that one right on the head. I found whitill wing on extra the second time i did HIVE mish. Shouldn't be too hard

Yup; I've only got 46 hours total. Selling the extra Wings actually helps a lot; the money from that and running Absolute Zero is great for buying S-ranks (I've got about half of em, now).

Don't run ALL of Hive, D1ABOLIK; just do the first part like I suggested. It saves on time and most of the enemies are the types you're looking for.

That's usually what happens to me in the online mode. = I guess my luck's just switched around, then... I was lucky enough to find the three Kubara Wood needed for the Svaltus Sword after only about 2 hours of searching. *wishes offline luck transferred to online luck*

Kubara wood for the sword in offline took me about 7 hours for the 3 it requires.I have way better luck online than off.I dont find jack offline.I have bought every S rank weapon and armor and units offline has for sale and the only S ranks i dont have are the wings and the daggers.Maybe that is why they wont give them to me.

I don't doubt the Kubara Wood; everyone complained about that XD I haven't quite built up the funds for the rest of the S-ranks; started with my Orpaline and the Orpa/Power Charge (I actually decided to go with the armor first so I could use the Wings I'd just found), then the Gudda Skela and T-H Ragnus, then the Giza-Misaki before I switched to Ranger for the time being to get the Blackbull. i have 23 hours on my 100 beast male in extra mode... want fast cash? SCREW S-RANKS!!!!! they look fancy but most suck... at least as far as melee's go... do what i do:

instead of spendin 500k on an s-rank, invest 500k on double saber boards and mats... (i kno theyre 4*)

buy the mats for at least 20 fire double sabers and put em all in ur PM at the same time
make sure u start all 20 but DO NOT take any out yet
save the game, then go start pullin out double sabers...
heres where patience comes in play... its taken me forever to get to where i am now but its incredibly worth it
pull em out one by one until you get ur first 60%... if you didnt go thru 2 many 20-40%s, save ur game and start pullin more out... (60s are always good to have, even tho theyre not the best)
this is important: online 40% is awesum... offline, not so much... take it from me, i have a full pallet of 80% fire double sabers and half a pallet of 80% lights for hive http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
so basically just make as many at a time as u can and try not to keep many that are less than 60%...

by the way, i did this several times, an hour or 2 each time, and i was lucky to pull out one 80... but usually not... p.s.- my PM is still at lv zero http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif so dont think ur PM cant do it

ok back to my method... get urself at least a pallet of all 60%s, then get tornado dance... do absolute zero over n over again and ull obviously get faster n faster every time roughly, especially since tornado dance levels fairly quickly...
rough stats: 4* double sabers compared to 10* 2 headed ragnus and crimson
double sabers hit almost double (thats just 60%s) plus it hits more times and much faster...
not to mention that u can use tornado dance to get around quicker anyways...
(ive taken out 3 bil de vear with one tornado dance a few times http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif they clump together n u can spin right down the middle)

then go to whats in the ruins on parum east... most of you kno but just in case, kubara wood only drops here... in 2 different rooms...
you can either do the whole mission (took me 6ish minutes) like every1 else... but that limits the amount of times you can run it... this is what i did:
use tornado dance to move around, go as quickly as possible... kill everything but dont pick up any items or money, just get thru as fast as you can... eventually you'll come to a room with 2 boxes in the back left corner and 2 in the back right corner... the kubara wood drops in the LEFT boxes... if you do it right, you can get to this box set in about 1:15... if you get the kubara wood, grats http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif now go pick up the money you left earlier... if not, log out and start over... in the amount of time it takes to just get to the other set of boxes, you could have done this method at least 2 or 3 times http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

4 the record, the other box set is in the big open room with 5 boxes way in the back

347th Hive run in a row(not on same day,just without playing any other missions),found my first whitill wings.Still no sign of dagger though.Maybe another 350ish runs for that also. =/

At lv80, I started my Kubara Wood search in the Relics on Parum. I also used the TD-Fire/Light 60/80% Double Saber tactic, with one difference: Badira, being fire -and my using 60-80% fire weapons- only took about 60dmg a hit. Elements offline are MUCH more effective, so I do not for a minute believe that you 1HKO'd anything using same element.

You can get Kubara Wood in story mode by S ranking certain mission. I S ranked every mission on my second time through and got two or three that way, three while doing free mission, and on extra mode, the train mission seemed to give the most. In The first car in block 1 you run back to after finishing the side car in block 2. If you defeat the seed and grab the key there is a storage area in that care that usually has good rare synth materials including the wood... I've gotten at least 5 there... (I was level from level 60-level 80 for the five I found...)
