Ok, so now some of the mission have been rebalance, is it really for the good? Exp: I have just played through system defense S2 (mind you I had one too many of the happy drink), yet I have got through without a death, is it really too easy now? what do you all think of this change?

i think they are to short now, easy aswell, but they are still fun,

as for exp wise less enemies means less exp

Well, I like that Demons Above was rebalanced because it makes Har / Quick hunts a little easier/faster/less boring. I think certain missions didn't really need rebalancing, but it doesn't bother me. There are plenty of places to go to get pretty good experience.

It's a tad insulting, but the fact that I soloed DT S2 in 31 minutes makes the boss drops there feel at least a little more possible.

I hardly notice much difference in Valley of Carnage, though. Even though they did say they rebalanced it. I think perhaps a bit more end-of-mission reward, but it seems hardly adjusted.

I can solo for a skela. How is that not good?

Though I have to ask. How is Rainbow Beast now? Will I have an easier time getting a Fuka? Can fortefighters solo it yet?

The missions are shorter and less monotonous to go through.

Things can be solo'd and be done within a reasonable amount of time.

Well the first block of it finally gives us the extra mode map from the tunnel mission. The second block stays the same map-wise but stink for less bots, more annoying Endrum-CASTs and less Grinne's. Haven't noticed the Bugges but I only went through it twice so far.

I don't like it, they should have add missions (for example: Desert Terror Dog version or something) and left the original ones the same way, now we have lost some of the missions we enjoyed and suffered in our first days in the game...

Better than when Gravity "rebalanced" the maps on RO. Basically they redid the spawns of all the maps. 90% of them came out worse than before, alot of those far far worse.

I do like what they did with things though, for the ones I checked out at least. The tweaks to the moatoob ones that make it easier to get meta hard materials is definite improvement.

Iv'e only played two runs of Sleeping Warriors on S2 since the rebalncing, and i can honestly say WHAT THE F***? i thought i was doing an S run. The mobs are now stupidly easy, ffs ST were not retarded we would like a CHALLENGE. Were not all losers who cant handle the game.

did they do the Hive also? I have been seeing 0 damage sometimes. Like they raised the evade of some monsters in there. anyone else notice this. usually when I use my axe.

Meh, I'm neutral on this matter. Sure, missions are easier and faster, but if you still spend the same time , the result is identical.

How the hell are you supposed to get a Gur Bazga now? I haven't seen a single Dura Gora in Terror runs since the rebalance. There's a common variation on the first map that has tons of Bils, so at least axe hunting is ok.

BTW have a look at Tunnel Recapture some time. Less worms, WAY more battles vs 3 Dura Gora... too bad they're lv95 q.q, probably an awesome mission for XP tho. System Defense is a hella fun mission now, too bad no chance of S-ranks >_<

Not sure if Sleeping Warriors was modified or not, but we're starting to wonder if the rare spawns that we know of still exist.

Mine defense is not the place to hunt for giga bullet save anymore. They took out most of the vandas and replaced them with lapuchas which are freaking annoying for gunners, and the easy block 2 indicater lapuchas or vandas is no more.
So i would guess; yeah, the rare enemy spawns could have been changed.

As for the slower enemies. Full parties are really boring now. I find it's alot more fun running in smaller 2-4 person parties which works well with the ps2/pc population. And the less enemies for more money kind of makes it possible to actually afford things in players shops by running missions.

Desert goliath was good before. They made it harder now I think. Was my favorite run, they messed it up in my opinion. I'll still run it Goliath is a fun run no matter

There's a variation of Desert Terror now with six or nine so Drua Gohra in Block 3.

well in Desert Goliath they have a lot more of the missle shooting robots and less Grinnas. that would be ok but I do have a problem with standing there shooting one and 3 missles appear out of no where and hit you. You can't see the robots at all they are that far away but they can hit you. I don't have a problem with I see them they see me so each is fair game. But when you don't see anything at all except missles flying that sux. But Like I said Goliath was always a fun run. Plus BB drops there lol.

6 total in b3, 3 sets of 2. But I did run into a spawn pattern where Dura Goras were in b1 and b2. Maybe 8 in total. B1 was the base map and nothing but Navals and Dura Goras.

I ran into a rappy spawn in Sleeping Warriors S2, with the expected Orgdus spawn afterwards.

Yes, Mine Defense isn't godly for hunting Jaggos anymore. I got the block 2 spawn earlier with nothing but Vanda through out it only there were no Jaggos at the end before the Kogs.

I want to know why they felt the need to gimp the game so heavily. Hardly worth removing the death penalty (thankfully not on the 360 rev yet) when there's almost no chance of death for even moderately competant players.

I even liked the mass of Grinna Betas in Desert Goliath, that mission felt epic by the time the boss was reached. If they think making them easier will make people run them more - NO, IT WON'T - they'll still run the labs for the money (especially now they're even easier). The only way to get people into those missions is increase the drop rate slightly, to give them hope. The difficulty was never the problem, the futility was. In my opinion anyway..

I finally got Jaggos on system defense. B1 was the pit map and had 5 vandas then 3 or so vandas + 2 navals in the pit. B2 was Naval + Jishagara can't remember the numbers though. Jaggos appeared in B2 after the Jishagaras+ Navals.

The rare maps on The Eastern Peril have also been completely changed, I can confirm.

Previously, if you got Ageetas at the start of both blocks, you'd have Rappies for sure. That is no longer the case.

Other than just mucking with spawn patterns, there isn't really a big change to this map. Maps with Ollakas seem to be less common, which I love, because the little buggers are annoying to kill as a fT. And it's still a 100% worm-free mission, so I like that. Otherwise, it's not really much easier, just... different.

As for Rare spawn on VOC, I will confirm this. The first block will have lapuchas. It's the one with 2 bridges, one up, and one to the right in the 1st room with enemies. 2nd block is the first open area will have 2 Nads, but they only appear one at a time. All
Vandas are charged ones in that first area. This will give you Jaggo's in the second open area

And, on topic to the JPN players before the stupid rebalancing, did that new mission at the Oasis always have that few of enemies? I was pretty dissapointed. What was it like for the rebalancing, if any? I hope the other other boss mission for Zoulgoug does not get this treatment.

Hmm...
Guess they just made boss drop hunting easier and solo friendly. The rebalance seems like a curse and a blessing at the same time.
Yay! Better solo possibilities when rare hunting!
Too bad I'd most likely fall asleep while solo'n.
