love is nothing more then the shallow attraction generated by the animalistic need to mate and stay together long enough to raise a child or form a desirable partneriship that despite its difficulties can yeild a greater reward (or percieved as greater) for the participants than apart, though some times the rewards may be greater to one person then the other, unbalancing the situation and creating an almost host/parasite relationship.

These people, however, are generally more depressive and have a more negative outcome on life. These people deride the lives of others so that they feel as bad as the negative people do.
However, there are others who see love from a different light. To them, love is the unyielding joy they feel when they are with someone. The feeling of pure bliss that can only come from an expanse of time (varying in size) being with that person. These people are usually optimists, like myself, who would rather look on the positive outcomes of things and work hard to achieve these outcomes.
In today's world (America usually), the word love means sex and sex appeal. People, from both the optimists and the pessimists, feel that love is only physical attraction. That when they see someone is beautiful and they want them that this is love. However, this is not what the essence of love truly is. The answer for what love truly is has already been mentioned above. And it is true for both cases, positive and negative. It all depends on the person and their view of life and love.

Personally, I am an optimist. So my case would be the latter of the two.
