Any advice for Fuka hunting?

Due to the new update, fFs can solo apparently. Using this, I want to solo Rainbow Beasts until I either find a Fuka board or something to trade for one. I can solo the mission fine, but finding good maps is another story. Any tips pertaining to either of the two?

You can solo with meleeing, but you need to have high % armors and maybe some high % weapons as well. Actually, I've been soloing very well. I had to use alot of money, but the rare synth drops I'm getting more than makes up for it (I'm actually gaining money now). Right now, my only problem is the Dambarta, and general worm annoyance (nothing in the world besides fixing worms would fix that), but besides that it's actually kind of easy.

Besides, gunners are lame and techers are sissy.

Alright been soloing this a lot lately. I usually find a rut that I get into during solos that I use to rinse-repeat my way to victory.

Grab a Gi-senba and Gigaline (unless you've got better) for ice and fire resistance, seriously, 25% does a lot. As well as a good fire and ice spear.

Kamatoze - Dus Daggas. My 34% fire spear rips through him.
Olgohmons - Dus Daggas. Flank and line them up in 2s for maximum damage. Two full combos knocked them down cold for me.
Ageeta - Dus Daggas. Seriously, it's funny how fast a fire Muktrand can kill them.
Ollaka - Anything ice really, not usually a problem to deal with.
Goshin - Oh yay. I Frozen Fury'd as a Figun, but when I ran as FF, my already obtained Fuka froze them in place. ANYTHING knockback will help.
Kagijabari (olol sp) - Dus Daggas. ALWAYS match the element of your spear with your armor. Don't use dark. Megiverse HURTS. Normally I let 5 Burn Gs tick off all his HP then OHKO him. Unfortunately FF is not so lucky.
See a pattern?

Prepare to be frozen. A LOT. I swear that Garment Aura is a reverse Freeze / Resist. If mobs are mixed, I usually eliminate all non-Goshin targets first, and apply ice armor. Rule of thumb- Check bushes for any missed drops. I've had some rares (nothing good) hide from me until I adjusted the camera angle. Always think "I must've missed it" when an enemy drops nothing.

This is friggen annoying. Especially for Tornado Dance (my only use for this pa >.>), if he catches me off guard, he can easily freeze me.

i was thinking about getting mayalee fury for my machineguns and just usin that on all the monsters, getting kamatoze's stuck is easy for me, anyone got any idea if this will make it alot easier (im a FG but using a rifle takes forever due to barta+knockback from rifle= constant repositioning.)

Hm, I see daggas never gets old. I'll try to explain what I do.

For Kamatozes, I use Dugrega to knock them down. They normally cast just as I do it, so it never works. I'm still working on 21+, though, so I'm hoping that'll help. Does simply Daggasing him to death really work?
Olgohmons, I use the second twin claw PA. Tears them apart, and keeps them down. It also lets me run away from the main spawn.
Ageeta, for now I use the twin dagger's second PA. Just something for DoT while I wait for my fists to synth.
Ollaka, I use my ice spear or sword and simply use daggas or spinning. They're not a threat, so I don't treat them as one.
Goshins, I would say I use the first singlle claw PA to take advantage of the 50% ice (<3) I randomly got. However, that eats through PP so quickly, even as a fortefighter with skill save, that I have to go back to daggas or spinning. Sometimes I use the second twin claw PA, for the popups. I also use dugrega... hell, I just want them to die a painful death.
Kagijabari, I don't fight it. I'm not going to try. He doesn't like me, I don't like him, it's best to keep it at that.

Oh, and I use Sori and Crimson for my armors. Low percents, but I did the math, and it turns out they offer better stats than a storebought B rank, and can be used to equip A rank slots. I wish I had higher elements, but I'm not about to go make another million meseta armor at 30% success rate.

Goshin are nothing to Tornado dance, it was truly the best use ever for that PA as I hunted Deva. Sadly just hunting fuka is a pain, if you were hunting deva/fuka, I know the 2 perfect maps for that.

I could also say that Wartechers, guntechers, and fighgunners are silly halfbreeds, and protransers can't fight, but what I really mean is that I have so much more fun as a fortefighter that I get bored easily with the other classes.

omg my double DESTROY goshin. Tornado dance well timed keeps them above ground, can hit 3 keeping them all above ground and knocked back, can kill em in like 30 seconds, seriously. I was soloing B1 mostly goshin, and doing the whole block in like 10 minutes using 1 trimate... it was glorious.

Basically what I'm saying, every enemy has something that destroys them. Tornado Dance is my goshin killer.

But it seems that those Kamatoze are really the only thing giving you trouble. Honestly, the way I handle it is to approach from the front, for double hits, and if I can get the 3rd hit of Daggas of, knock it back, run around to the front again and repeat. If I get frozen (about 50% of the time), hopefully my PM or Maya heals me. >.>;

Well I was able to Solo before the Re-balance. It can be annoying but it's possible. Now it's probably even easyer which is a good thing.

Also not to worry about STA because Sori %Ice be one of the main armor to use their so it will give you all 4 slots. Just equip your Garment Aura or something with will give you good STA. Also the Zubba on the Fist is quite useful for the Gohmon* ( the Barta spammers) you can keep spamming it, so they can't get up. Also Anga Dugrega is great for the Kamatoze also other monsters, just spam the first knock back then rápe them in the corner. The mission can be sorta easy, if u get lucky not getting Frozen and not to pick the Worm map.

But really all you need is a good % ICE hopefully free slot is their so equip your good STA unit. Then just blast away with your ICE and FIRE weapons, also have a Fire armor with you to change on some monsters.

Rainbow Beast wasn't changed with the update. fF's have been able to solo it since it released, it's actually pathetically easy to do, provided you know what you're doing.

If you're Fuka hunting, obviously, skip the last block, unless you really want to fight hordes of buffed Gohmon and Kagaji as a fF. When I hunted it (and gave up, weapon didn't suit my character), I ignored any map with Goshin as a first spawn. Only reason was because they're probably the most annoying enemy there. What I would suggest is a good knockback PA for them (Anga Dugrega works wonders).

Dugrega works well on the Kamatoze themselves too, constantly knocking them over.

As for map variations, can't help there. It's been a little while, so I can't really remember which patterns have more Kamatoze.

Good luck though, it seems to be rarer than most other S-Ranks.

Edit:Ditch the Sori-senba, it's not that great against Olgohmons. I'd advise using an NPC bought Gi-senba instead. You should take less damage. Hardline is good for Fire resist. For Kamatoze, Dugrega them to knock them over, and switch to Daggas spam if you don't have Dugrega 11/21+. Otherwise, just spam Dugrega, heh.

Wow, people are getting offended easily considering I wasn't serious. I wasn't aware people got offended at being called "sissy". Obviously, I like partying with these classes, more so than partying than fortefighters, I just don't have as much fun playing them as I do fortefighter. I'm sorry I offended you, Bunny, that was the last thing I had in mind.

So, for map variation, all the maps are basically alike in terms of ratio of useless enemies to kamatozes? There's no way to at least minimize the amount of Goshins I fight? I think they're the only things I have trouble with, though I can live with them if I have to. I think I'm actually fine with most other enemies now, especially with the advice I got. Though I still dislike randomly being frozen by Kamatozes, it seems like there's no way around that.
What you said about Kamatozes, knocking them over and using Daggas, due to being on the PS2 that's not an option for me (damn weapon lag...). However, I've been trying to level Dugrega for this circomstance, and have got it at around lv18 right now. Hopefully, at 21, I'll be able to get two knockdowns in it before it can freeze me.

And for armors, I don't have much of a choice between them. Though B ranks probably do have better protection overall (I'll do the math in a second), I have enough useful A rank slots to warrant using A rank armor.

Assuming I understand the elemental boosts, Sori gives me, including the elemental boost, 445 defense and 220 ment with rainbow. Crimson gives me 429 def and 270 ment. Gi-senba gives me 435 def and 187 ment. Hardlne gives 465 def and 268 ment. Of course, this is assuming I completely understand the elemental percentages, which I probably don't, and I got all the math right. However, if I do, I'm probably much better off with the A rank armors, especially considering I can also get a PP bonus and +2 stamina. I am assuming that elemental percents boost your stats in the same way PAs do, is this correct?

Well, i can give you a reasonable advice to get Fu.ka. First, get the Kamikaze stuck at a corner, where he try to charge at you but cant move toward you. Second, use spear, it will hit him from the distance as well and you will have no problem dealing with his dambarta. You probably wont be hit either. I havent try this out yet. I haven't seen any occasions where kametozes get stuck in corners, but I know that if one does get stuck and I use spears, I'll have to walk closer to him due to the spear's advancing steps. Also, I'm not sure if spears can out-reach dambarta, that thing has some incredible range. I'll try to see if I can get it to work, but I'm not confident.
