Just a little sick of almost finishing the mission and hearing a "whoops" and discovering a poor schmuck laying on the floor.
If you have less than 5 or so 'mates, just tell the party to wait 2 min before you stock up.
If there is no force, please don't rely on the WT to always heal you, because we're on the frickin' front line with you and have other things to worry about than your HP. GT's resta is a joke so just stop asking.
It is better to get less than an S rank on HSM than GET
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. In addition you piss of 3 other people who wasted 10 minutes of their lives so you could get owned by a couple of badiras.
Edit: Sorry about the double post...internet was acting up a bit...

Things to bring to HSM:
- Mates
- Star Atomizers
- Antimates
- Sol Atomizers
- Wands/Rods with Resta on them. Every wand/rod you use.
- Ice-element armor, and a neutral/fire for the Fire Gohmons. Please kthx. Your only possible excuse for not having at least a Gi-senba is being a L32 Male Newman Fortetecher 1.
- Fire and ice weapons. Please for the love of god. If you're a FO or a RA you have absolutely no excuse. If you're a HU, Ripa-zashi, 5-star Yohmei single dagger. 31% Fire from NPC, 18500 meseta. If you're a high enough level to think about doing HSM, you probably have enough ATP. Durandal or Dual Durandal from GRM for ice weapons. Same star rating/price as Ripa-zashi. Or hell, you did Firebreak, didn't you? Bring your damned pan. Depending on your block three spawns, most to nearly all of the mission is ice enemies.
- A neutral weapon for the Kagajiwhatevers.
- Lag as the party leader, as this apparently can sometimes glitch the mission into thinking you have all 20 samples shortly after the beginning of block 3. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif
Things not to bring:
- A fire armor and nothing else.
- Elemental wands/rods if you're teching seriously. That damage boost does you no fucking good if you or someone else dies while you're digging for your wand with Resta, and if I'm frozen I can't very well eat a mate or throw a star at you, or I already would have. I've watched people die to this several times, and died to it a time or two myself before I got the HP as a HU to withstand a buffed Kamatoze's cheapassness. Really, I would much, much rather be a few seconds too late on killing the last wave and miss sample 20 and get an A rank instead of getting a fail. I know you hate supporting and it's 'Not your job', but this is a fucking cooperative mission. Fucking cooperate. I'll Star you if I see you about to die and I can get there in time, you Resta me if you see me about to do the same, plzthx.
- Forgetting to tell your party members you're out of mates/photon charges. If you run out of mates or charges and need more, ASK. The worst that can happen is you're playing with jackasses who'll LOL you, and you don't want to be playing with them anyway. Best case, you get some mates to get you through and don't end up failing the mission because you couldn't heal with a face full of fire gohmons. Shit happens, you thought you didn't have to go to Yohmei to restock until after this run, I understand, I've miscalculated and run out myself.
And damn it, if GT Resta keeps me or somebody else from dying, GT Resta is the most awesome thing in the universe. People seem to forget that it does not necessarily need to completely heal you to be useful. As long as it allows the nearly-dead player enough time to pop a mate and heal all the way, GT Resta pwns hardcore.

Yeah, but nobody in this game HAS common sense, so I felt it necessary to spell it out in big letters. >_>
