why would a cast want to be a Fortefighter?

i think it is insulting to me when i see a cast fortefighter walking around and im a beast fotefighter. they chose to be a cast so they need to suck it up and be a fortegunner.

Well Casts make decent fortefighters because of their ATA and ATP. Surely their ATP is not great as a Beast's nor do they get the type bonuses, but their ATA arguably makes up for their deficit in ATP.

Other than the ATA and ATP issue, a cast's stats aren't too far behind a beast's in dfp and HP.

Beast Fortefighter gets about 100 more ATP at 90/10.

And ATA doesn't matter as much in this game, I can hit fine with a 70/10 Beast Fortefighter.

If Sonic Team wanted Beasts to only play Fortefighters, CASTs to only play Fortegunners, etc, why did they add the ability to change class? Quit being dense.

No, because CASTs have high ATP (for Fortefighter) and ATA (for Fortegunner). Their TP is low (for Fortetecher). You can do it, but it's not one of the best combos.

if u would actually watch the video on psu website you can hear the maker clearly say you can be a cast fortegunner for ranging,or a beast fortefighter for close quarters combat.(giving u huge hint there)
