they are immune to [i]most[i] holy items, Anderson (he's a priest) is the only one that an really fight them. Actually, he'd probably kick Seras' ass. Alucard though, he's pretty powerful, but he's also a tad insane and loves to battle, so as long as he rips the enemy to shreds in various gruesom ways, I don't care. Alucard and Anderson are usually pretty even, as Anderson has hyper regeneration powers.

Although, vampires don't like water in the game, and unless they are in a coffin when crossing the ocean in a flying vehicle or on a massive ship they will be weakend. Also, for whatever reason, Alucard is sort of enslaved by Integra Hellsing, the leader of an organization that hunts down vampires and other hazardous paranormal phenomenah and terminates them. Since Seras was made a vampire from Alucard biting her, she is his subordinate, and serves Integra Hellsing as well.

I've only read past the first 8 or 9 manga books in the series, and I've seen OVA 1 and 2. I don't think I've seen three yet. Never seen the anime series (seperate from OVA.) I need to check up on the whole thing and find out where it is.
