Inuyasha is pretty monotonous and drawn out, I'd say maybe catch it if it's on, but don't go out of your way for it, there's some decent action, but must they repeat the same scene so many damn times?! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

I liked Yu Yu Hakusho when it was out. Probably wouldn't like it as much now though, my tastes have shifted. But I liked Tenchi at the time to, so you'd probably like that one. SPIRIT GUN!

Higurashi is cool, if you can stand watching little kids getting/giving bloody murder, which is more or less the theme of the show http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I've never seen Yu Yu Hakusho, though, I knew someone who was a big fan, but I never got around to watching it.

I'd recommend Last Exile, I was reffered to it here and checked it out, it was pretty good, lotsa' cool dogfighting and airships and whatnot. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

if you want an inspirational dog fighting movie, rent The Tuskegee Airmen. It's not anime, and it's American, also a civil rights type thing (the tuskegee airmen were the first black pilot regiment, turned out to be one of the best) but I thought it was a good movie.

I could recommend you a lot of series.
What series did you like the most? It'd be easy to find you some good series based on what you've seen.

Subbed or dubbed? Most of the shows you listed are dubbed already? So would you prefer that?

I don't care either way. Yeah I also like MOST of the Gundam (Gundam, Gundam wing, gundam 08th ms team, Gundam 0079) series too, and Evangelion.
These are just off the top of my head, there are a bunch more that I like that I'm just not thinking of right now.

Well, it looks like you like older audience shonen series.
I've heard Madlax and Noir are good from a friend, and that seems like something you would enjoy (judging from descriptions.)
I would also suggest watching Samurai 7 (action series), probably Eureka Seven (Haven't actually watched the whole series yet) and Gundam Seed (if you haven't seen it)
These are the recommendations off the top of my head.
If you want more, I can research some stuff for you. I have a lot of series, but its hard to think of them all at once. ^.^

I remember this one show that seemed like it'd be cool, I think it was called Candidate for Goddess, it was on Adult Swim when it first started way back when. I only saw an ep or two, but it looked interesting, don't remember too much about it, though. :/

Hm, let's see what else I can think of right now....
Looking for love/comedy? I suggest School Rumble and Seto no Hanayome.
Looking for slice-of-life? I suggest Genshiken, Lucky Star, and Azumanga Daioh
Shonen? Bleach, Busou Renkin, One Piece, and Rurouni Kenshin
Looking for robots? Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Escaflowne (a bit dated now, but good)
Shoujo? I have no idea... maybe Powerpuff Girls Z?

Old school?

Watch Patlabor I and II (I first, II is prettier though). Really long, really drawn out, but if you follow it, your IQ will go up by 2%.

There's giant robots, but it's mostly a detective thing.

I haven't seen 3, though.

Oh, and see Ghost in the Shell: Innocence. It's kinda philosophy heavy, though. Really different from SAC. Much prettier, too.

[Edit] Okay, Patlabor isn't as good as I remember it.

Watch the old Transformers movie! Rule 1 of the movie: Kill off the old toy line!
