You can tell its working if the rappies fall from the sky each time you telepipe back down.

Not true for online mode, find a fat el rappy and pipe up and down he will always fall from the sky but he will always remain fat which means the trick isn't working.

I had been piping all this time online in EP2 to get a santa rappy. Yesterday and the day before I did this for about an hour.

A while ago I tried it online, to get a hildelt in the heat sword quest. Then I found out it doesn't work.

Lesson learned!
