Sord, I just noticed, you are a year younger than me. Holy crap!

Sord
Jul 22, 2007, 01:15 PM
heh, you never realized I was younger then you? heh, eh well. Age really isn't that great a judge for determining maturity, intelligence, or any such thing. Sure, most adults are smarter then kids, but I've seen vice versa plenty of times. hell, now because of our diets you can't even use it to predict puberty http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

it's weird though, I look like I'm in my 20s cause I always wear proffesional clothes (tucked in color shirt with belt and khaki pants.) I've been asked if I was a teacher at both my home school and tech school. It's kinda weird, but I just laugh and say no.

edit: damn you again homonyms!

See, that is what I was going off of, your pics in the RL Photo Thread. You,look like you are in your 20s. The way you talk also makes you seem much older than you are.

Sord

i need to get another picture, I got a lot of my hair cut. I would have cut it shorter, but I have to keep the screw in my head covered up. Well, I don't really have to. I'm not embarased by it, I just don't want to have to explain it 50 times a day to people who see it and ask about it. Also, I've groan a goatee.

i don't get presents till august, no money, we live off the state sadly http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif Still, not sure what I want, probably only gonna be about 20 bucks though.

as for the screw in my head, there is a very good reason it's there and I'm leaving it there. I like having hearing again on my right side.

unfortunately, I was born with about half my hearing on the right side, as I got older, I lost about 70 percent of it. I went through two surgeries, each one failed and made it worse. Eventually I couldn't even use a hearing aid. Then I got the Baha implant (not to be confused with the cochlear implant.) Man, the vertigo from the second surgery was massive for the first week, I'd take a step and the room would spin. Took me about an hour to get used to it though. As a kid, me and my friends would spin around a lot then try and wrestle the other to the ground first. Fun stuff.

Yeah I have had my share of medical oopsies. I was born with my right kidney being smaller than the left, thus it only did 14% of the work. Unfortunately for me, we did not realize this until I was about 12-13 or so when my appendix began to rupture. After having that removed, further tests showed the problem with my kidney. The operation was a tad risky, and there was always the chance of me dying, as it was a vital organ. But here I am today, living on one kidney with a huge scar on my right side.

Well, I knew a few people who intend to be doctors in the future, so there is some hope. However, I cannot say for the rest of america's population.

i believe for most people who want to become something <starting age of 16> should automatically be placed into that speacific "class" by government / school laws or something being they get more time to actually learn about what they want to do as these days everything we learn in schools dont really come close to much jobs and whats needed...
example...
kid: i want to be a fireman.. ~gets older~ teen: i wanna become a construction worker...
Parent: go to school and work hard and thats what youll be...
*after geting past grade 12 your only able to "attempt" a course for that specific job... * in those 12 grades you didnt really learn anything bout being fireman or much of construction... sigh, did i make it confuseing? :s

Meyfei
Jul 22, 2007, 02:28 PM

AlexCraig
Jul 22, 2007, 02:29 PM
Communism REALLY is the act of making community. But our government see it as when the gov't of a nation has total control over its people.
