Anyone else have these books when they were a kid? Quite possibly the most awesome combination of paper and ink assembled by man. 8)

Hell, i was more interested in looking at the picture itself rather than find the damn things.
Some of those pics were breathtaking for being quite an old book

I did not; instead had Hardy Boys books. Some of them old and worn and hardcover.

And an updated one with spaceships and an alien on the cover fighting the Hardy Boys blonde punk and other kid.

I don't think "Victory" is red and gray.

I Spy was always odd in how everything could be found so easily save for those last few random items. Then when you find the books laying around and revisit them some time later, those items change.

There's also a pizza place around here that attempts to recreate the whole I Spy feel by placing plastic toy animals inside the table under some glass. Accursed angles make it so people have to actually work together to complete the list.

Also had a better time at I Spy then at finding a certain bespectacled man in a red and white striped getup, considering that yeah, I Spy had some actual appeal in staring at a page of a room for hours.
