New to PSU

Heyas,

Was wondering if PSU is hard to get into? I recently picked up a copy for the 360 however i'm unsure if it's worth a shot.

Is it easy to just get running? MMOS are not new to me as I've played a number on the PC.

Any help would be much appriciated.

I suggest you do the tutorial as it helps you alot on where the shops are (in GUARDIANS Colony) and how to battle, and you also get your first PA...other than that welcome, unfortunately we won't be able to play together since you're on the 360 but good luck.

It's fairly easy to pick up and play, however how long you stay on is really a matter of if you mind hack&slash combat, and item hunting. There is a quick tutorial that should answer most questions about gameplay. If that's not enough there are some nice enough player (keyword SOME) that will help out. But being on the 360 version you'll get quite a share of jerks who spam for the heck of it.
If you do decide to come online PM me here and I'll be willing to provide you with support for your first few levels.
Also, if you want to understand the story I recommend you play the offline story, especially if you want to understand the online story missions.

lol awesome sounds a bit different to your typical PC mmo ala EQ. Sounds more like a diablo type hack n slash. Interesting. Guess i'll give it a whirl and see how it does. Thanks for your replys =)

I suggest you play the demo before opening your game. (Note. Do not judge the community based on the demo. Those people aren't on the actual servers, so that's not what the rest of us are like) It's a good tool for testing gameplay (not content. You're locked out of A LOT of content in the demo).

Yeah, if you have Gold that that's a good idea.
But even if you don't decide to play the game online it's still an easy way to get 1000 points on your gamer score fairly quickly.

Obsidian - I tried the demo and quite enjoyed it. You're right about the community though http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif I like the fact that you can just jump on, have a bit of hack n slash and then log off (also keeps the missus happy)

Is there a certain server on the 360 thats more populated then the others?

Universes 1 and 2 are usually full to capacity at peek times.

There is a lot to this game, particularly if you are one to agonize over numbers and strategy. Gameplay wise it is very easy though. Picking a direction for your character can be difficult at the beginning, so I would advise using the forum as much as you can when making big decisions.
