Casting Glitch?

I was doing Train Rescue or whatever the hell it's called when this happens to me:

I was finishing up Dammegid with a Howrod and trying to switch to my Majimra+B'duki Oga so I could cast Resta. However, I hit a little bit of lag and suddenly I'm stuck in the Dammegid animation with my Majimra. It's not draining PP, it's not doing _anything_, but I'm stuck like this and I can't move. Happened to me before...I just abandoned the mission, not sure if you can wait it out.

Normally when that happens to me on the xbox my internet connection is about to stop.

This makes me think of when I abandoned a mission one time and the whole party spawns in the lobby...stunned.

Lol, the icon wasnt there, but we were doing the swaying animation..

It was funny XD

I've seen stunned people in the lobby too. Was during firebreak.

Well, after a few minutes some Rogue (Jasse) from the next room were kind enough to come smack me, which knocked me out of it.

This happened to me once when I was running HSM - outside of the room with the light switch, I was trying to buff and my character froze completely, but I could still talk and see everyone else moving. It only cleared up after the mission was over, but it's only happened once at least.

i was in the group where gryff and everyone else came back stunned XD we stood there talking for a while, you could abandon, we had to reconnect x.x

Of course I had jynx myself and it happened AGAIN in the middle of an S mission. >_<;;;;

You cam either get hit, eat something can can cause you to flinch, Megistraid and Homaid Cookies. or abandon..

Happened to me again, while spamming Dual Sentinal. Fortunately, a few Svaltus across the room were more than willing to help me out of a jam. It happened with a Dam- tech again, so... that's probably the cause of it.

3. Leave group and rejoin
4. Abandon (yeah I know, it's a sad option but I had to do it a few times already)
5. Scream out loud "BEAST WOMENS SUCK BAD!!" And Laia will show up and break your arms aka flinch you.

I'm pretty sure it's happened to me before when trying to buff, I could be wrong though. As you pointed out, it happened to you after you switched weapons, so I'm not really sure.

It can't happen on Buffs.
It can happen on:
Damdiga
Nosdiga
Dambarta
Dammegid
Damfoie
Megiverse
Noszonde
Nosmegid

Basically on every spell you have to hold the button to use the spell to the fullest.
