ya, was thinking about something to add/change about the game and post it here. (just like someone else does every day, hooray)

k, so i was thinkin, since it really is no secret that sonic team spent most of their time/creativity on techs, what with the whole "evolution" of a tech IN STARK CONTRAST to gunners, which have no way to visually distinguish levels of bullets... what if they had various graphical effects for the different levels of status effects(smaller/larger flames, etc)? and what if when you target a monster, and it has a SE applied to it, that it could have a small white number in the middle of the icon to let you know what level the status effect was?

i'd p-shop an example but cannot find a screen with that box up in the left corner with a mob that has a SE applied for ref

I think it'd be nice for bullets to get stronger looking at higher levels.

Maybe faster moving too.

Level 11- is just the color, then 11-20, it begins eminating traces of its element..

Fire- on fire, duh.
Ice- Leaves a faint misty trail
Lightning-Sparks shoot out
Earth- Looks like a rock? XD
Dark- a blackhole kind of effect, or the virus look.
Light- Shines and twinkles > : D

And it would just get more detailed at each 11 jump.

the PA has nothing to do with the element, however i think that'd be cool if it applied to elemental percentages...like the closer a weapon was to 50% the more the effect would be evident

Would be preaty cool actually. Half the fun of leveling techs / skills is to see the bigger, badder visuals. Bullets are kinda....*snore*

it might be a good idea, but with the bullet effects on S rank guns, I could honestly care less.

personally, i'd rather them keep the individual bullets themselves the same - maybe add a tracer for the 31+ - but they could also add various levels of muzzleflash.

yeah thats a bit excessive, but S-rank or not, just saying it be nice to be able to tell a difference. techers have 3 variations of their techs, hunters have 3 chunks of animation (cept for 1handed ya ya). they mustve been close to their deadline when it came to working on the ranger-related code/material

Bullets get more range and a higher SE which is enough for me. To combare it with techers, S ranks wands only get effects on the casting animation, so obviously the tech they cast is going to have a particular animation as well.

With bullets i think it makes more sense to have the visual based on the discription of the gun. The meteor cannon is going to shoot out meteors, or the angel harp is going to shoot bullets with a feather effect. This seems a lot cooler to me as every gun is original.

i didn't see you were talking about bullets somehow..still i'd still like my idea... i'd also like it if you could apply those effect to bullets the same way... so like a gun shooting a meteor at someone could like like it was on fire or look like a comet or something like that...it'd be cool but PS2 users would be dead in the water even morel ol

I prefer the looks of S ranks bullets. Now normal guns they are pretty boring, but these are just sexy.
