What exactly is the difference between an Acrotecher and a W

I like both classes, and I'm making my female Newman an Acrotecher

But yeah, Acrotecher has better support, less recovery time with technics which makes it easier to cast technics repeatedly, higher TP so they have better offensive magic too. Wartecher has better melee. Of course, they also have S ranks in different weapons, but you'll never get those.

I was just wondering as Jonty and I are levelling prospective ATs and WTs respectively, and wondered if there was any freaking difference whatsoever.

AT vs. WT...

Lemme put it to you this way...

in AOI:

WT will get S rank daggers, twin daggers and wands.

AT will get S rank whips, daggers, sabers, cards, wands, madoogs, and handguns.

WT is much better in the ATP department

AT is much better in the casting department (faster cast + higher TP and MST)

WT has better defense.

They have the same requirements.

The question you have to ask yourself is "Do I want to cause SE and support with whizbangs and Healing, Or do I want to beat the crap out of stuff?"

If SE and healing is your thing...go AT
If "beat the crap out of..." go WT.
