Signature sizes?

It still is 35000 bytes, 600x180 including text, and max five lines of text.

Just curious but, since when did signature size limits change? I keep seeing people with massive signatures but... It doesn't seem to matter anymore? I thought the limit was 35k right?

Last time i went over the 35k limit I was promptly notified by a mod, and my signature edited.
