There currently is no mode like Battle Mode in the base game. No such mode has been announced for the expansion (Ambition of the Illuminus), either, and I wouldn't expect it in the game then, either. The possibility of it being added in the future is still there, of course, but for now it's best not to anticipate it or anything.
