when a class, advanced or not, is leveled are the stats gained added to your base stats, as if you char leveled? or is it only appled to that job? for instance, if you level force to lv.10 then switch to hunter lv.1, will your stats go down?

Yes it only applies to the job.

Yep. The stats stick with that class. your example at the end was perfect. For the time being that you have that class on, it'll be added to your stats as if you've leveled. but once you switch the class to whatever - the stats will go down. Best Example:

You level FF to 10. All your stats go up.
you Switch to FT 1. All your stats go down (besides maybe MST since their's is higher)

Every race/gender has the same base stats. When you level up a job it increases the multiplier that your base stats go through. Switching/leveling classes doesn't change your base stats at all
