I believe we'll all quite familiar with the DTPA's enthusiasm for bronze pillars of manliness. My question is this: what is the DTPA's stance on alabaster pillars of womanliness? The sometimes-ladies of FKL need to know.

I think I'd be frightened of a woman who's legs were referred to as pillars.

Ah, right you are sir. Let us amend that to graceful, lithe, long, and artfully sculpted pillars.

Athena, Godess of War
Valkyrie, Angels of the Norse
Amazons, Female Warriors in a Class All Their Own

It really depends on whose lithe pillars we're talking about.
I'm rather neutral to the whole agenda hubbub, though DTPA as any would be convinced to accept such a boon from a select few, I'm sure.

To be precise, Athena was the goddess of wisdom, war, the arts, justice, industry and skill. So really, I think she was more of a goddess of being generally good at shit.

To compare Valkyries to angels is fairly interesting; Valkyries were responsible for taking fallen warriors to Val Halla.

Amazons have been known to amputate a breast, so that it won't get in the way when they draw an arrow on their bow.

That amputation of the breast is nothing but a myth to scare off most fools. Besides the bow wasnt introduced till much later, it was the blow pipe and dart and the sling that came first to be of use. What the heck all of these are just myths anyways o.o

What is the stance on the pants issues for the women?

athena: aware of this, but I was speaking in terms of what makes a woman physichally strong, and there is a war going on now

valkyries: actually they are pretty similar to christian angels in certain texts. they served god just as valkyries served Odin, and some were responsable for escorting people to heaven or some such.

amazons: wasn't aware they cut off their breasts, though I know some nun (or some religious female) did do that. It was on the history channel.

I myself am not interesting in any sort of pillar of womanliness, although I see no reason why you can't be pantsless.

I want my manly pillars! Bronzed pillars of manly awesomeness!

Oh, BlueDagger, I wasn't suggesting that I supply the aforementioned pillars. I'm just sayin'.
