if your playing it with the same amount of RAM that you did previously, what makes you think RAM is the problem? Unless you have to many other apps open or you're using Firefox and it's leaving memory holes.

It just depends on what kind of RAM chip, there's about 3 different main types, yours is probably SIMM since that's one of the most commonly used ones...

Good Lord, I haven't used a computer with less than 128MB of RAM in over a decade. Hell, I went to 384MB back on Windows 98 when it was new.

Also, I thought that using Windows ME had been considered a crime against humanity by now? I couldn't wait to get rid of that DOS-based OS and the file allocation tables that when XP came out I jumped, day one. Actually, I went from 98 to XP to avoid ME altogether anyway but I was the one that had to work on my grandfather's computer that came with ME.
